Learn Drupal 7 Theming in Dublin - Feb 8th
Would you like to break through and learn Drupal 7 theming? By the end of this one-day course, you'll not only learn the step-by-step process of making a theme, but you'll also understand the system behind it.
The instructor is Marek Sotak (d.o: Sign) of Atomic Ant (Prague/London), and maintainer of the popular administration theme: Root Candy http://drupal.org/project/rootcandy Marek also co-organized the Drupal Design Camp Prague and he fully understands the need to make Drupal's theming system easier to understand.
This is a great opportunity to bag some skills! This is chance to learn more about theming, and also what's new in Drupal 7.

Although every answer was unique, the most common frustration boiled down to, "I just don't get it. I don't understand the big picture. It's chaotic and it makes me feel stupid." ... Seattle Drupal Dojo (draft)
What's Seattle Drupal Dojo?
Call it a hack night or whatever, Seattle Drupal Dojo is a weekly opportunity to get together with other folks in the local Drupal community. Bring your problems, bring your solutions, bring your laptop.
The word Dojo (道場) captures what we're trying to create -- a place to practice and master one's art. Think of it as a place to become a Drupal blackbelt, a Drupal Ninja.
What to do in a local Dojo?
- Work together on personal projects or troubleshoot Drupal issues

Weekly discussions about Drupal learning and training.
