I have been developing two sites which revolve around the management and workflow of complex forms. On one of these sites, I created a content type using CCK. The content contains about 40 varied fields, some in groups. Some of the fields contain long text with complex medical terms. I loaded the database with 5000 forms and ran cron to get everything indexed.
The search results were incomplete. If I searched for a keyword that should find 13 documents, I might only find 7. If I touch the missing document (edit/save) and re-run cron. The search returns 13 documents.
OpenBlock Geolocation Hack-a-thon at MIT Media Lab
MIT and Hacks/Hackers are hosting an OpenBlock hack-a-thon Oct. 30 at noon. Why should local Drupalists care?
OpenBlock by itself is an interesting news aggregator, but it's various components, which can be de-coupled, could be very cool, doing everything from auto-geotagging content, very customizable mapping, and much more. Tapping into these components could help a lot of Drupal sites I've seen.
RSVP here for the meetup:

Problem w/ overlapping block
I set up Images to cycle using Views Rotator, then moved the block to right sidebar top.
The Images overlap the top of the block beneath which is "Who Is New"...
I am just wondering what to do to fix this problem,

Read moreModule question: user 'favoriting' of drupal6 aggregator feed items
Asking for a 'lil help discovering if a module or easy hack exists to allow users to 'favorite' or copy the content of a specific aggregator feed item to another node for their later use.
I did the standard google and drupalmodule searches and came up with nothing but possible implementations in drupal 7 (where I am using 6). I did find one module that "promotes" items hand-picked by an administrator to copy to nodes (I suppose like slashdot admin might) http://drupal.org/project/aggregator_promote but I'm looking for user favorites to be stored privately for their own reference.

Hi –
My name is Jacqueline Kesicki, and I’m with M+R Strategic Services
(http://mrss.com). We’re a public affairs firm opening a small satellite
office in the Boston area and we're looking for two things:
- A space to sublet from a larger organization.
- New staff! (scroll down)
A bit more about the type of space we're looking for:
• Space for anywhere from 2-5 people
• At least one office with a door
• Some flexibility for a short-term sublease
• Ideally off the red line in Boston, Cambridge or Somerville, but
flexible on location
Recommended Modules for Document Archiving?
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a module that would allow me to create an organized archive a few hundred PDFs? We are running on 6. The archive needs to be searchable and anonymous users need to be able to access/browse easily. Something that could upload in batches.
Also, it would be great to be able to hyperlink specific document locations from the archive for in text citations.
Any thoughts?

Hi All,
I was introduced to Drupal a few months ago and am building 2 sites on it. I use the drupal forum to post questions which has been very useful, but i have more questions than I feel i can put on the forum. Is there a Drupal buddy system? Or mentor system for experienced users to help their green colleagues along?
Thanks
Jonah

We are considering putting together a van rental from the Boston area for a group of us to head to Drupal Camp Montreal Oct 23-24. Can I get a show of interest please? There's already a few passengers on board.

Last year we did the same thing, NYC, Boston user group peep where on board.
Judging by interest, I'll get vehicle size and price. I'd like to leave on Thurs if possible. Later in this string I'll post a Doodle for majority choice travel days. Hey, I like one day of being a tourist. I love Montreal. Still want to see the Olympic Stadium!
Read moreScaling Drupal on shared hosting
Hi folks,
A client of ours just migrated their Drupal site to a shared hosting service and now experiencing performance issues with logged in users. Drupal's caching and APC are enabled, so content is loading fine for anonymous users. We are mostly running into issues with node add forms and administrative pages loading very slowly.
Has anyone run into similar issues migrating a site from a dedicated server to shared hosting? How did you improve performance on your site?
