Does anyone have direct experience (either as a developer or user) of a Drupal8 membership system? There seem to be several choices for D7, including at least one based on Drupal Commerce, but I haven't found any that can handle simple individual membership that controls access to a portion of the site.
Ideally someone would have developer (or at least configurator) experience with a (or a collection of) modules that handle online payment for individual memberships. Membership can be signified with the presence of a particular role.
Minimally someone would have user experience with a Drupal 8 paid membership management system.
I would prefer not to have to write one, but it is looking like I will be forced into that position. If anyone has a need for something like this, please contact me.
