A few issues/questions about OP 2.2

Hi,
I have a few questions as I await the release of 2.3 (with instructions).
1) Articles -- Is there a way I can allow authors to assign themselves as authors, write teasers and Decks? I don't see it it any where in permissions or the ability to assign these abilities within the content. As an admin, I have these capabilities, but I'd like my authors to be able to do so.
2) Search and Reference -- Clicking this doesn't seem to do anything. In fact, if I have unsaved work on an article, click search and reference or create and reference seems to kill the page and then I lose my work.

Where does open publish put xml sitemaps?

Open Publish document says "Auto-generation of a sitemap in XML improves ability of search engine crawlers to index contents of site. OpenPublish installs with this feature ready to go.".

Where can I find this sitemap so that I can update Google Webmaster tools with it.

I royally messed it up. Help?

http://beta.michigandistrict.org/ - I was trying to associate an author profile with an incoming feed, and something went horribly wrong and I can't seem to undo it.

Any thoughts?

Banners need changing

First - I apologize because this may have been covered somewhere.

Second - I want to change or remove the banners that are associated with the default installation of Openpublish. My install is here: http://beta.michigandistrict.org

I don't mind having the ad placements, but I really want to replace them with new ads and links. Most likely I would just use the ad space for advertising our own events.

As of now, I have no idea where I would create new ads for the space(s). Can someone clue me in?

How to create new content type in Openpublish

I am trying to create new content type in Openpublish - Project. I need to add few additional fields (using CCK) and display in Tag Group.

Duplicated following file -
/sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/node
node-article.tpl.php as node-projects.tpl.php

/sites/all/modules/openpublish_core/theme_helpers
node-article.tpl.inc as node-projects.tpl.inc

Now when i go to home page after clear the cache, getting blank page.

and new project content created doesn't give display as article does.

Please help, if i am missing something.

Multi language domain driven site

I have installed OpenPublish-2.3RC1-Build375 on my LAMP server and Im having troubles setting it up the way I want.

I want to have multi language domain driven site, with English (default) and 3 additional languages. I added all needed translations and installed i18n and l10n modules and set them up by the book. I read various "how to" posts here and a book Using Drupal, so Im familiar with how Drupal works.

There is no problem with user interface (menu, blocks,...) translation and switching - for now everything works as it should. What's bugging me is content on first page.

problem with OP front & list pages

I know it has something to do with Views, and yet I'm not sure of where to address it.

The following is appearing for every entry on the front page and the listing pages like /articles, blogs and multimedia.

However, this does not happen for unregistered users nor does it happen for Administrator-class users (users with all permissions) as well as number one user.

Ive been trying to embed Picasa 3.8 images and slideshows into the embed media field of "image" and "slide show" but getting messages on "You have specified an invalid media URL or embed code." or with linking "Fatal error: Class 'ARC2' not found in /sites/all/modules/opencalais/includes/CalaisRdfProcessor.inc on line 31"

Or Has anyone else gotten Picasa to work?

How is it possible to have Full HTML input filter for Body textfield form, while Filtered HTML for teaser field? At the moment, the setting is being applied as global.

replacing article thumbnail/main images (files) with remote URLs

We've made the decision to store all our non-theme multimedia content (images, video, audio, flash, interpretive dance routines) outside of our CMS.

Currently we have everything on an installation of Gallery2 (with a wary but hopeful eye toward Gallery3). Migrating everything into Gallery2 was really easy, and it gives us buckets of extra options in our tagging, geotagging, pre-scaling, sorting, etc. We have really enthusiastic photographers and videographers, and we believe this will make it much easier to store and find content for later use.

Thumbnail Image File Browser Can't Select a File

I've been unable to insert a thumbnail photo using the File Browser. I can see the image listed on my server, but there is no way to select it or send it to the article. I'm using 2.3 RC1.

Re-organizing articles on front page

I'm working at a news site where they'd often like to be able to re-order the articles on the front page, say swapping the 3rd and 4th teaser blocks.

Is there an easy way to reorganize the articles on the front page beyond setting "sticky"?

Pass taxonomy argument to the block on the topic hub page

This block ("image" block) is out of topic hub panel in the right column of the page. It should display images by taxonomy from "Image Galleries" vocabulary. As for topic hubs "topic" vocabulary was used, even term names are the same within both vocabularies. What we need to accomplish is to pass taxonomy term argument (from "Image Galleries" that corresponds to the topic hub's term) to that "image" block's view, so only relevant images will be displayed within each of topic hubs (30+).

Advertisement module in OP

Does anyone have properly working Advertisement module in OP 2.2?

Ad 6.x-2.2
If yes, was it somehow tweaked to work with? I'm not sure if this is a common problem or our set of additional modules/configuration. Here is the description of the multiple problems with ad module functionality in OP we have:

We tried OpenX a bit and as for now like simplicity of ad module over it. Any help/suggestions are welcome.

Number of items to display in the topic hub's pane

Does anyone know how to adjust number of items to display in the topic hub's pane? By default it's 10 items for let's say "Most Recent" pane and I can't find where to change it.
