A blog or something... we need

Things that need to be shared about OpenPublish

All the postings in this groups, page after page relate to issues and problems with OpenPublish.

It would really be a plus to have a link to a blog or something where people are talking about their competent OP installations

Where they discuss what they did, and how they are using OP, workarounds and things that make for competent working OP sites.

It wouldn't be bad, if people discussed problems as long as the end result was a fix and a competent working site.

Adding Times to Events?

I want to add a time field to the event content type. However, when I added a datetime widget, the time results don't print: ie, only the date portion displays. How do I get both the date AND time to display in an event node?

Translate Openpublish ?

How to Cure Frustrating Blog Titles?

I'm considering doing away with the blog entry type and making everything an article due to the frustration over displaying titles. I have included four different methods of displaying a blog entry's title Author(s) Node: Title, Authors(s)(counter) Node: Title, Node: Title and Node:Title, again). Still, the blog page only displays this:

date
author's name

teaser

No title. What's wrong??

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how I can get that nice Author Info that get's presented at the bottom of blogs and articles in OP to also go on my custom content type?

Front Page Problem

I just upgraded to OP 2.1. I had one problem in the upgrade: the instruction to drush enable op_contexts failed because that feature cannot be found.

I also now have no home page / front page content. The page shows no sidebar and no nodes.

How do I restore the site front page to its default form?

How to Style Blog Homepage Block View?

My blogs homepage block view hasn't styled the title. The date and author fields are styled, but the node: title is just plain text. How do I style that view field?

How to change default image folder setting?

I have created a new folder (sites/default/files/2010) where I want to put all new images uploaded when we publish articles.
I haven't been able though to change the settings to make the new folder default for all new images. Even though I have tried to change settings in a couple of ways (CKEditor, IMCE profiles), the images still keep coming to the files-folder.

Blog Entry Titles Missing

For some reason, when blog entries are displayed on the front page, the title is missing; only the blog author, date and teaser are printed. It is fine with the full page, but the front page block omits the blog entry title. I've looked at the view and the node title is there in the front page block, but for some reason it doesn't display.

Is there a product competition analysis of the main socialnetworking solutions ?

Is there a feature list and competition analysis Drupal or non Drupal intranet usable out of box ?
The main supects (for me) would be :

I reinstalled OP 2.1 on a test server and the next step in returning OP to the live site - and I notice the quotes problem is gone. Did the feature updates get rolled into the main OP download?

Updating OpenPublish

There have been several updates to OP since July 14th, but I'm kind of confused about when to update certain things. I read this thread which details which modules were patched: http://groups.drupal.org/node/60313. But, for instance, the admin module which they say not to update, has a security release out. When is it ok to update this? I have been able to update other modules that weren't patched in the 2.1 release, but what happens when a new OP release comes out?

How to change the Open Publish Journal-logo

How do I change the logo "OpenPublish Journal" to something else?
I tried to put my own logo.gif-file in sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/images but that made no difference.
I also put my logo.gif in the subtheme images folder, with no result.
So I guess the solution is something different. Thanks in advance for advice!

Just to let you guys know what you can do with it :)

I have just swapped out old Drupal site with OP2.1 and some other modules and it's working flawless!
You can watch @ http://www.altior.nl/ (it's in Dutch).

It's basically OP2.1 with some additional modules as 404 blocks, workflow, webform, text resize, custom breadcrumbs, external, lightbox2, special menu items and superfish.

Problem with saving any block reaction in context

Using OP 2.1-119, btw a really "awesome" piece of sw, but I'm now in a dead lane because of a strange context behaviour I cannot say if it's a bug or a feature. Every time I edit a context, both predefined or newly created, I can save everything but block reactions. For predefined context, for example, when I edit again the context, the block reaction has disappeared (I checked even in the DB).

Should I upgrade or do a complete new install

I've got a couple sites I started with 2.0 OP, but gave up on them.

I'm thinking to give it a go again.

In order to upgrade to the 2.1 119 build would it best best to just start over 2.0 build or upgrade?

There are no site theme changes and the old content is pretty worthless at this point.

I did get the sites up and running, but had enough tweaky issues I thought to wait a bit.

Install Problem: Themes Messed-Up

I keep trying to install OP2.1 and the themes always appear wrong, as if the CSS is never loaded. The files all look to be there and the features work - just the interface is unstyled. Is there a way of correcting this, or determining the cause? Thanks (I'm on my third install at the moment.)
