Panels Help: Blog Views

I need help creating a mini panel for the frontpage. I want to substitute the blogs homepage view with a mini panel. I can link the panel to the view and it appears in the preview, but after adding it to the frontpage context, the panel's content doesn't appear -- just the panel title. What am I forgetting?

There is no Features listing after upgrading to 2.1

I was able to upgrade from OP 1.7.1 > 2.0 and everything worked. Then I proceeded to upgrade from 2.0 > 2.1 following the upgrade procedure, but for some reason, when I go to the last step of the upgrade:

Go to admin/build/features and if you see any features showing "overriden" status, go into the feature, check overriden components and click on "revert components". Repeat for all other overridden features, until all of them show status: "default".

Images not showing up in articles

We have just migrated our site from our development site to our main domain and are planning to take it live asap. Everything seems to have gone smooth and all of our existing content transferred without a hitch and seems to all be intact. However, now when we try to add any new articles to our site the images (main image and thumbnail image) attached to the article are not showing up when we publish the article. Again, there are not any problems with any of the articles that were published before the site migration.

Moving from Joomla to OpenPublish

Which is the easiest way to move 1500 articles from a Joomla 1.5-site to OpenPublish 2.1?
I know there is a module called "Joomla to Drupal", http://drupal.org/project/joomla
Would you recommend using that module with OpenPublish?

Node titles are not showing

I'm just getting a couple of arrows where the title of the node should be, not only on the front page but on the article page as well. As only a subtheme has been created and no other css touched yet, I can't figure out why.

Using Panels on the frontpage

I know someone else started a discussion on this, but the question was never answered as they went the theming route. But just how do you use panels on your homepage, because whenever I try to make a new front page using panels it is fine until I try and make it the front page and it reverts to the original front page. I have tried deleting, overriding, disabling the lot and it still reverts.
New to OpenPublish but have been learning Drupal for around 6 months. Basically a handcoder.

Some trouble with subtheming from OP 1.7.1 theme

I am attempting to finally upgrade from OP 1.7.1. It took me a while to take the plunge because I have to subtheme and then make the upgrade. I've been following the instructions to make a subtheme from the openpublish_theme.

When I finally attempt to enable the subtheme and attempt to view the site, I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare openpublish_search_theme_form() (previously declared in /Users/joechoo/Sites/SCVBJ0724/sites/all/themes/openpublish_theme/template.php:14) in /Users/joechoo/Sites/SCVBJ0724/sites/all/themes/scvbj/template.php on line 29

How to Style CCK Fields?

I created a new content type called "guide" so readers can add information about area resources, such as restaurants. The content type has two new fields for phone number and address. I copied node.tpl.php to node-guide.tpl.php so I could style the output. How do I remove the

character from my two new fields? Currently, my node displays like this:

<li> phone number </li>
<li> address </li>

One can never have too many nested menus with OP. It would be nice to add to OP2.2 the ability to create a two-level menu. My goal is something like this:

Parent Menu Item
   Child Item
     Grandchild Item

Image Size in article detail.

Hi,
I have been working my way around customizing my look and feel. I am working on a sub-theme and figuring most things out. One thing I can not find is where the size is applied to image in a detail of an article. It uses the ImageCaching 400xY preset, but where is this applied. I have looked most places I can find. Thanks.

How to Edit Blog View to Display Similar Posts?

Rather than Displaying five blog posts of the same blog, I want to collate them. For example, currently I have this situation:

We need ability to pre-sort and filter all incoming feeds before loading onto our web server

I asked this before sometime back.

I would really like to be able to pre-sort and filter feed information before loading it into MYSql database.

Is there a best way to accomplish this in 2.1 OP.

It seems to me this would be a very important issue with most of us, because the OP is designed for facilitating and acquiring content.

Anyway, I'd be interested to read more on this topic

Whatever happened to Tattler??

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this question, but whatever became of Tattler? It seems that the original download is still present on the Tattler App site. The Twitter feed has been alluding to a new version for several months now. Any Timetable? This was a really great start on a cool app, but it definitely needs a refresh.

I really like the slideshow but I am having problems with odd croppings of any irregularly sized or vertical photos.

Book Nodes?

I want to style my book nodes, but I don't see it listed in the themes' node/ directory. Specifically, I want to remove the hairline that appears under the content, as well as the navigation that appears at the bottom of the page. (I have the book navigation block activated so that it appears in the right sidebar of book pages.) My goal is a book layout similar to stattler.com/book.

Using Event Page to Create Business Directory?

I'd like to modify the event page, with the ability to search year and month, for a business directory. Instead of a "year" drop-down I'd like "sector" and instead of "month" I'd like "category." How can this be accomplished?

Organic Groups
