Recommendation for a VPS for hosting CiviMail

Does anyone know of a Civimail friendly VPS plans, one that already comes configured to work correctly -- or that you can request it and they know what you are talking about?

(BTW -- I haven't used CiviMail in about a year and I'm assuming it still needs a lot of custom server installs to handle bounce processing correctly. If this is no longer they case, please correct me)

Thank You,
Sam

Anyone in GRUPAL working with Drupal distributions and have done any Application integration?

Hello GRupal,
I am trying to see where Drupal could be used in some of my projects and what I find it most intriguing in its distribution capability such as Open Atrium and its integration with other apps like CiviCRM. Does anyone in the group have experience or thoughts on either of these or others?

Thanks,

Multisite or Domain Access with CiviCRM?

I have done a bunch of research but could use some advice on whether a multisite installation or the Domain Access module is more appropriate for my needs.

I am setting up two sites for a public school and the grassroots nonprofit that raises money to support the school. They will need the following capabilities: (My impression of whether this tips the scale one way or the other is in parentheses - feel free to correct me)

Intéressé par OpenAtrium ? CiviCRM ? SimpleNews ? Facebook connect ? Tattler ?

Drupal + CiviCRM for educational site

Hi all,
I am developing a site (currently in dev at http://new.pittsburghprep.com) for a test prep company. They provide classes on the SAT and other tests, in addition to private tutoring. They will also have a web store for textbooks and other course materials. Here is a breakdown of the site's core functionality:

First, for end users:
1) Course sign-up and pay
2) Tutoring package sign up and pay
3) Textbook/course material purchase
4) Participation in group discussions and intra-group messaging
5) Take e-courses

And for site admins:

raSANTIAGO scripts: stuck on something

I'm trying to deal w/ script "2_person_groups.sql" and I'm having a devil of a time getting through parts of this one (and I'm sure it'll happen again later on too).

I don't understand why there's a line CONCAT("Facil import: tblPerson.PersonID=", PersonID)   AS description, -- it seems to me that this pulls in a user ID number from a member and uses it as the group description. But that line makes sense in a subsequent script, so I think it might be an error due to copy and paste.

Also, the script doesn't work, at least for me at Boston.

Facl & CiviCRM YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS

raSANTIAGO's scripts for importing data into CiviCRM from original Facil data are working very well. (See: http://groups.drupal.org/node/23535) So far, I've only had to make a few modifications to the code. Especially pleased with the scripts for pulling Facil's Class data into CiviCRM's Event tables. raSANTIAGO developed these scripts for Portland Community Media and released them as open source code available to anyone in the Public Access community involved with migrating away from Facil to an open source database environment (particularly MySQL).
