First CiviCRM Geneva Meetup
Hi to all,
A bit of Drupal/CiviCRM related info:
We are organizing a presentation on CiviCRM, a really interesting and healthy open source Contact/Constituency Relationship Management system that grew out from NGO/civil society world and is therefore rather nicely suited to the communication needs of variety of organizations (especially in Geneva).

Hi all,
I'm happy to find a NH Drupal Users Group! I look forward to attending meetings.
Is anyone using CiviCRM with Drupal? I'm looking for someone who can mentor me through the process of writing some custom code. (I'm a long time HTML/XHTML and CSS coder; have created 4 Drupal sites this year, and am still new at learning CiviCRM).

I've aggregated content related to the Open Media Project and CiviCRM from several sources (GDO, openmediaproject.org, blip.tv, DOM) and compiled it in list form here. This content deals with integrating CiviCRM and MERCI, establishing CiviEvents for classes, as well importing Facil data. My reason for doing this is because I completed importing data into MERCI, and am looking to re-import user data and focus attention on the CiviCRM side of things. I started looked at all these resources independently and realized it be good if they were all on one page.

Hey folks in K-12 land (especially to the ones in small independent schools):
A quick update on the current status of CiviSchool:
- We've build an Application Form and workflow to manage the application process for a school in NY. Its a bit specific to their needs currently but we plan in making it a lot more configurable. A detailed blog post and screenshots is here: http://civicrm.org/blogs/deepak/civischool-application-form-admissions
Embedding a Panels display.
I'm relatively new to Panels, and need to do something a little unusual -- I need to render a Panels display into content controlled by CiviCRM.
I can get this to work, but it's a little ugly. I haven't found any good code examples for doing this, so I looked at how Panel Nodes (6.x-3.5 for this and everything else panels-wise) did it, and am doing something like this:
<?php
$did = 11;
$display = panels_load_display($did);
$display->css_id = 'da-dashboard-group-panel';
$rendered = panels_render_display($display);
?>HOW to make a Drupal IntraNet ??! + social activist site building
Hi, missing a link to an informative page/wiki on the IntraNet group page; about ways to accomplish a Drupal IntraNet and pros & cons of different methods doing so? Just a guess; I tried if a "intranet" module exists and yes: http://drupal.org/project/intranet ... Next try, what more shows up under intranet? http://drupal.org/search/apachesolr_search/intranet
OK, now I get confused, so maybe I shouldn't install the intranet module..?

CiviSchool Update - Online forms to update student / family information
Hey folks in K-12 land (especially to the ones in small independent schools):
A quick update on the current status of CiviSchool:
-
We are rolling out an online form process where parents can maintain and update information on their kid (household, emergency, medical, releases etc). A detailed blog post and screenshots is here: http://civicrm.org/blogs/lobo/civischool-online-forms-update-student-fam...

We've figured out a way to sync CiviCRM and PowerSchool (via autocomm). We'll use it to also load all the family information collected by Drupal/CiviCRM into PowerSchool

Our extended care management, attendance and billing system worked really well this spring semester. It is part of the CiviSchool module
Drupal + CiviCRM = Web Application Solution for Non-Profits
The Free Software Foundation designated CiviCRM in April as its recommendation for a "fully featured donor and contact management system for nonprofits". The FSF reinforced it's announcement by adopting CiviCRM for its own use. CiviCRM is also used by Amnesty International, Creative Commons, the Wikimedia Foundation and thousands of smaller organizations around the world. But wait, this is DrupalCamp - what's this have to do with us!?!

Since I haven't done any development work in Drupal to date, I thought I could contribute by listing some of the pertinent resources I have been exploring over the past year that seem to be part of "the solution" (if there is a single solution).
