Been attending O'Reilly's "Tools of Change" conference in midtown this week (http://www.toccon.com/toc2009).
Yesterday Drupal had two big mentions. One was a session by the Rochester IT Open Source Lab on the iNews module (http://www.toccon.com/toc2009/public/schedule/detail/5179). Didn't attend that, unfortunately had other business going on.
Also, during a session on copyright, Greg Merkle of Dow Jones ran a couple slides which used "Drupal" as a term in the examples (http://www.toccon.com/toc2009/public/schedule/detail/7511).
Basically, among the publishing industry people I've been talking to, Drupal may not be hot news but it is in the vocabulary.
