Hello everyone!
I don't post much, but attend the nyc meetups regularly except for the past 2 months since I was busy renovating our new repair shop.
Currently im in the process of trying to create a classroom/hackerspace in the Lower East Side area and dedicate some time to hold mini meetups for those that usually can't make it during the early days of the month. Obviously it will have to be free for meetups and would also be great to help promote workshops that are related to drupal. Also i was thinking that others can also use the space to teach too. Let me know what you guys think. as we are open up to ideas.
The shop is 20 x 20 feet and fits only about 20 people at a time. So obviously it cant be for big parties. I already developed the space to be modular like drupal where all the tables can be moved around. During the day its a repair shop and at night would be a skillshare classroom. right now we're on a kickstarter clone called lucky ant and looking for people that would support this idea: http://www.luckyant.com/nyc/lower-east-side/index.html
