This is one of the best open source events worldwide, and we're lucky it's in our own backyard. To learn more, please visit the SCaLE 11x website.
Each year since 2008, members of the LA Drupal community have helped host a booth. We'll likely do it again this year. Want to get involved? Stay tuned or post a comment. Please come help if you'd like to be involved in your local FOSS community. Its a great way to meet people involved in other FOSS projects as well as help spread the word about Drupal.

As we spoke about last night, the Stauffer team will help organize the LA Drupal Scale booth. Scott Knight will be point man. We'll have a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help man the booth shortly.

Awesome for Stauffer folks to volunteer again this year! Plus its nice to have someone else take point on it this year. I'll put Scott in contact with Gareth from SCaLE.
For the last couple of years, I've simply copied the planning wiki from the prior year and then customized as needed. 2012 (10x) is here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/200913. If you go this route, hit up a group admin to promote the wiki to the LA homepage so we can raise awareness and also find volunteers.
I plan on volunteering, too.

SCaLE is less than 3 weeks away
SCaLE 11x is less than three weeks away. We still need volunteers to help run the Drupal booth. There are a few free passes left if you volunteer four or more hours.
For those that want to attend but are unable to volunteer, SCaLE is giving members of the Drupal community 50% off this year. Enter the coupon code DRUPL. Leave out the "A". It was never supposed to be a part of the word "druppel" anyway.
