Happy New Year!

I've got some good news for the group. Károly Négyesi a.k.a. chx will be in New York City for the January Meetup. If you don't already know him, chx is best know for being one of the most prolific contributors to Drupal core. He is in a large part responsible for making Drupal 6 a reality and he is beginning work on Drupal 7.

chx has offered to do a Q&A for the group and he will be happy to answer questions about anything and everything Drupal, including the menu system. (Note that the previous version was a misunderstanding: I said I won't give a menu talk. But a Q&A is fine. Just please read the new menu handbook pages first.)

The meetup will take place Wednesday, January 16th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Fast Company headquarters at 7 World Trade Center / 250 Greenwich St..

WTC security requires that we present them with a final list of attendees by 3pm the day before the event. If you will be attending, you MUST add your full name to this wiki page. To ensure that your questions are answered in the Q&A please add them along with your name.

Sam Tresler - I would love to talk some about upcoming DrupalCamp developments, but don't want to take anything away from chx's talk - People interested in volunteering, sponsoring, or generally hearing about the plan should stay tuned for a pre-meetup dinner or something.
