Brief accessibility review for Drupal implementation for NARIC

Hi folks --

At Drupalcon I mentioned we are doing a full-scale usability and accessibility of our redesigned website (under development at http://www.drupal-dev.naric.com/drupal-7.0/) Attached is brief, preliminary review of our development site. The Paciello Group reviewed three templates and a handful of pages for us. I'm still going through and making changes based on their recommendations. Some are more challenging for me than others. CSS I can fix. PHP, not so much. For example:
-Accessibility of the Feedback module
-"more" link in the aggregator feed (needs context)

Nonvisual site development with Drupal 7

I have lurked for a little while, and this is my first post to this group. I have met some of you in person or virtually in other contexts, and appreciate your contributions to Drupal accessibility. In learning Drupal 7, myself, I have encountered some problems as a blind developer for which I have not yet found solutions (though I have done much reading of Drupal books and web articles). I hope some of you may have helpful thoughts on the following issues, divided into Blocks and Views; Content Types and Forms; and Status and Error Messages.

Meet to discuss issues that didn't make it into D7 and are pushed to D8

Hi guys, I'd like to revive a meeting of the a11y folks to discuss issues that didn't make the cut for D7 so we can create some fresh D8 issues for them.

For instance, a short discussion with sun about http://drupal.org/node/447816 came to the conclusion we should create two new issues out of that one based on webchick's b) and c) in #232.

There are other a11y issues that got pushed back to D8. What is our strategy going to be? Please add up links to other issues we should discuss.

Adding Strings for Translation for Accessibility

There are a number of places where for accessibility in D7 we still need to add strings to fields in core. There are still quite a few missing labels for fields in and this is very important so that individuals using screen readers have an opportunity to understand what the field represents. We want to do this however in a way which doesn't loading a tonne more work on translators.

Anybody else working on Accessibility docs yet?

I'm about to tackle a modest project in the Accessibility pages and just wanted to be sure I wasn't reproducing anyone else's work. Anyone here working on those docs? (Our Accessibility group actually is coordinating a project to improve that content. I am plugged in with [the rest of] them.) If so, please touch base with me so we can collaborate.

Text Resize: A Discussion

This is a reaction to NonProfit's awesome and most useful post on modules pertaining to accessibility. Wiki pages don't have comments, so I thought we could track discussion here.
