April UT DUG Meetup
Thanks to everyone from DUG TO who attended the first University of Toronto Drupal Users Group meeting last month. The small but potent gathering was a success and we agreed to move ahead with a monthly meetup, which is scheduled for the second Monday of each month to coincide with the monthly DUG TO meetups. Everyone from DUG TO is welcome to attend. Signup details are available here:

Read moreFebruary Toronto Meetup: All about hosting
In addition to figuring out how to make Drupal do exactly what we want, most of us have to make a decision on where our Drupal site will ultimately live. There are a wide variety of hosting options available, from the super cheap to the ridiculously expensive - shared hosts, VPS, cloud, etc. All have their pros and cons for Drupal (and our budgets).
Join us this month to talk through the options and some guidelines on configuring our sites and servers for optimum performance.

A first meetup for members of the University of Toronto Drupal community has been scheduled for February 25th, 2009, at 4pm (location TBA). U of T has made significant use of Drupal, but the community is distributed with little collaboration. This meetup is an initial attempt to fix that. We would love to have representation from DUG TO, as one of the discussion topics will be to start a U of T specific DUG or join up with DUG TO. All are welcome, but please sign up if you wish to attend.

Hallo,
Thanks to all who sent me any information about Drupal.
I am not only new guy here, but also new in Toronto. I just begin here. That is why I am not able to pay for training and more or less I am looking for some volunteer who could learn me how to work with Drupal.
I already tried to install it, and did some easy things like few lines of text, table, picture.... but I need more.
On the other hand I could share or exchange my experiences from branch of pre-press work or photography. I was working for 15 years in this branch and I have work permit here.

Well Drupal team, riddle me this.
When I went to change my profile pic today it would allow me to delete my current one but as soon as I added a totally new image (within specs) it just brought my old picture back up. I tried this 3 times with no luck.
Anyone have any idea what the bug is here?
Read moreToronto iCal Feed
I've created a Yahoo Pipes feed which takes the site-wide iCal feed and filters out all events which aren't in the America/Toronto time zone. This way it's easy to see only the local events in your calendar. Right now there's only one event... but hopefully that will change soon :)
iCal feed and Pipes link.
Enjoy!
