BDUG is the Berkeley Drupal Users Group. This group is open to everyone in the area who is interested in learning, teaching or networking about Drupal. When meetings take place, they are held on the UC Berkeley campus monthly meetings on the UC Berkeley campus.
There is a list of San Francisco Bay Area-based Drupal consultants.

Training day at GLADCamp 2014, this year's Greater Los Angeles Drupal Camp, is on March 7th, 2014. We have room at our conference venue for 3 simultaneous trainings and are starting our call for trainings! Everyone is welcome to apply:

Greater Los Angeles Drupal Camp (GLADCamp) is a free, 3-day conference for All Things Drupal on March 7th, 8th & 9th, 2014, at the Hilton Pasadena & Convention Center in Pasadena, California.
We're planning a conference that's packed with 3 full days of activities, including sessions, presentations, trainings, topic-based summits, a job fair, a barn raising to benefit a local non-profit, receptions, and more!
Our community members are also planning their own events to coincide with the conference, including client meetings and company retreats.

Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction here.
I would like to create a node/page/block/whatever that does the following:
For the sake of simplicity, there are 3 drop down menus. Each menu would have a list of data that is pre-defined. You would see the alpha numeric value only in the drop down, but the items in parenthesis are the values the user would see after they select the initial value and select Go.

BDUG: Mapping and Location Data
Next Monday's BDUG meeting will cover using location data to create maps. I'll show some examples of sites in development and then walk through creating a map-based application.
The demo will focus on the Leaflet map library, but we can also discuss OpenLayers and other options as time permits.

BDUG: Kalabox...and Drupal Dev Tools
At next Monday's BDUG Will Hastings of Kalamuna will join us to show off Kalabox, a Drupal development environment which provides a web server, database server and php for a developer's computer. Kalabox provides some integration with Pantheon's Drupal hosting service and it comes with the Panopoly distribution of Drupal pre-installed.
