I have no topic, other than an open discussion on Drupal 7. I need others to come with topics to discuss, or questions to ask.
PDO Exception and other errors
Hi All,
Noob to groups here...have a hard time making NYC meetups as I live upstate and yadda, yadda...
I've been testing D7 for about 3 months and encounter problems when adding contrib mods (PDO Errors), fields (already exist but don't show up in list), and file uploads(server returns Ajax errors). Am currently using RC3. Most errors seem to go back to Duplicate entry in Field SQL Storage, includes, or comment module. On a clean install everything is fine until I actually start to add any type of new content. Media posts using contribs and created fields, for example, kill the site.
With the old MyISam MySQL format (D6) I was able to repair the tables using PhpMyAdmin at the DB but with INNODB I can no longer (or don't know how) to do this. I have not found any way (or place) to directly drop (duplicate?) Field Storage entries. When I do, I hose the install. I will admit, I hit the system hard to see where it breaks.
If others are experiencing these errors it might be a good topic. I'll try to make the NYC meet up but if not, perhaps in the spring.
Summary - Field SQL Storage seems to be the death of me
Meanwhile, everyone have a fantastic New Year!

What's the demographics of the attendees? If you guys are developers, having a look at the module conversion requirements for D6 -> D7 would be interesting.
