Is it just me, or does the email notification not include the actual date of the event?
Could this be changed so the date does show up in the email?

Good point Josh, it's been raised before, and Alex UA filed an issue 8 months ago: http://drupal.org/node/854588 - there's a patch mentioned in that issue that needs tested - make it happen! We'll all thank you!
