I looked around and I haven't seen a post about this, so I thought I would start.
I attended my first Drupal Camp yesterday. I have never been to a Drupal conference and I'm still very novice in Drupal.
I want to thank everyone who organized it, everyone who volunteered their knowledge for sessions and within sessions, and the sponsors for donating generously.
It was an inspiring event and gave me a few things to think about. I met a lot of very nice people at the event and look forward to seeing you again. I'm on twitter, same username.
There is a huge learning curve with this platform and so I hope by next year, I can be in a position to help newbies like myself and give back.
Anyway, thanks again.

hear, hear
This was also my first Drupal event and I had an amazing time. I was a little skeptical about the unconference format but came away convinced: some presentations were obviously passionately prepared (and attended) like Forest's git talk and Tom's map talk, while others felt like skillshares--both very useful for someone relatively new to Drupal like myself. Felt like I had all my needs catered to--I learned a ton and hope to be helping out more next time. Thanks so much to all the organizers!
Yeah, attendance
I wanted to go to the GIT talk but it conflicted with another session more appropriate to me. I wanted to go to the map one as well, but again, I attended a session, that turned out, wasn't for me, but I thought it COULD be for me if I stuck it out. Live and learn.
One talk that should be had at another camp is a discussion on the myriad of ways Drupal sites can be cached. We struggled a LOT with this issue on our own site, and evidently, a lot of people had that experience.
