Our first meetup was a success!!

Thanks to all that attended!! I was glad to see such interest in building a Long Island Drupal Users Group and was inspired by much of the rich conversations that took place. We should have some pics up shortly!!

I would also like to throw around the idea of hosting workshops and other more focused meetups in the near future.

As an organizer for the NNJ DUG I can truly appreciate your having success with your first meetup.
New DUG's (such as yours) and very young DUG's (such as mine) take time to take root and to build a local Drupal community.

I wish your DUG continued success!
