Data Visualization API Features Code Sprint

LSU_JBob's picture

I would like to do a small code sprint during the play day. Ideally wold like to knock out these two issues for the Data Visualization API Project.

Any coders wanna jump in?

So a couple people have pinged me saying that they won't be able to come to the playday but still will be online during the time. A common question is just "how do I get up to speed?"

So first just drush in or download the module here: http://drupal.org/project/data_visualization
First thing, check out the REAMDE that comes with the module. Get one of the libraries mentioned on the module page, high charts, jit or jqplot... Get one or all of the adapters from the github repo mentioned on the module page.

Familiarize yourself with Vizstruct : https://github.com/johnrobertwilson/visualization-spec/blob/master/spec.md

As you move along you'll notice areas that need improvement, log any feature requests or bug reports here http://drupal.org/project/issues/data_visualization. We'll be using the issue queue as a compass for the code sprint.

As we talked about, I'm very interested in http://drupal.org/node/1372524.

Looking forward to it!
