We're gathering ideas for sessions for the upcoming DrupalCamp #11 unconference.

The schedule will be set during the intro session at the camp but the more ideas that we have going into that session the better.

Post your session ideas as comments below. Please note what skill level your session would target as well as a description. Feel free to post both ideas that you are willing to do a presentation on as well as ones you would like to see other people do.

We are encouraging sessions to make limited use of slides/powerpoint(tm) and focus more on group/panel discussions and hands-on learning.

UcCon Sess: Media in Drupal

willyk's picture

Awesome to hear session submission for the UnCon are open! ... I'm keen to present/help present/attend a session on media in Drupal. Focus would be on the Media Module and/or attendees other suggested recipes for how to handle images, video, audio in Drupal. Attendees coud decide scope of talk: past (D6), present (D7) and future (D8), or bleeding edge. Attendees would pick the skill level or we can even mix it up a bit, eiher way I'll make sure to have some demos we can tinker with if people want. I'll try to do a 5min Lighting Talk at next month's meet-up as a teaser.

I'd be very interested in learning about .....

I've got two proposals:

Principles of Responsive Web Design, an RWD Overview
Sass+RWD, or why you should stop using base themes for your RWD work.

First is a "what/why" of RWD, second is a "how"

multi-channel integration session in the afternoon

I can tackle a session on integrating Drupal with editorial/authoring tools as well as delivering content from Drupal to InDesign and InDesign Server. Would love it if other people working on these things can join in on the session as more of a roundtable discussion, although I'll have some things to show. (Has to be afternoon since I won't be there in the morning, although not sure how things will play out if I'm not there in the AM to suggest the session).

"The NY Activist Calendar is a grassroots effort to provide New York’s progressive community with a central, open space where activist groups can post their events and individuals can go to find out what’s going on."

I'd like to see this site go to 7, mobile luvin', get some tweaks on, and p'raps become an install profile for community based event management/listing.

Anyone interested in such a thing should contacto me, and maybe we can talk (or do) tomorrow.
