We're looking forward to everyone joining us in the Big Apple from July 19 to 23 for NYC Camp 2012!
NYC Camp (aka ‘nice camp’) is being held at Faculty House on Columbia University’s campus on the Upper West Side. NYC Camp has broadened a bit and now includes:
- Beginner training day occuring on Thursday and Friday,
- Sessions all day Saturday, with a focus on beginner & expert content,
- A fun evening in store on Saturday night (stay tuned ...),
- Keynotes from Drupal luminaries on on Sunday morning,
- An awesome sprint & contrib extravaganza on Sunday afternoon and Monday, and
- NYC Community building sessions on Monday night.
Whether you are a Drupal newbie or a budding master, we have challenging and relevant content for everyone ... so this event can't be missed! NYC Camp is a free event, you can register here. We have a capacity limit of 400 attendees, and over 150 people have already signed up, so this event will fill-up quickly.
We're officially accepting session proposals, and you can submit your awesome session here. Remember that we’re focused on the 'steepest parts of the Drupal learning curve': beginner on-ramping and intermediate devs looking to make the leap and get involved in contributing to core and contrib initiatives.
Note that we’ve extended deadline for NYC Camp session submissions to Monday, June 25. As NYC Camp gears up, we're looking forward to an exciting line up of challenging and insightful sessions! All sessions should be no longer than 50 minutes. We will start announcing session selection by Friday June 29nd. You don't want to miss out, so get your session submitted today!
Stay tuned for exciting information about our keynote speakers, Saturday night event, sprints/contrib, and training day. We’re looking forward to putting on a great event for everyone!

BTW! Remember that the Drupal NYC community is also hosting a fantastic UnConference (DCNYC11) on June 23, so register and get your submissions in before it’s too late!
