Our main segment is currently open for suggestions. I am thinking we can dive into D8 concepts or stay in the D7 world. If anyone has some suggestions please share. I was also thinking, we have not done a site case study in a while. Does anyone have a site they can share that has some interesting features to it?

I have been toying with the idea of doing an intro to custom forms. Would anyone be interested? I can give a intro to get you started. And how to make a custom form do some quick validation and email it out.

@johntr Based on our poll, module development took the cake! I think a talk about the Form API is very timely. For folks new to module development in D7 this is an excellent topic to get a taste of how we use arrays to build, alter, and validate our forms before rendering. I am looking forward to it!

Super excited to get our Drupal on in a few hours! We still have a slot open for the module of the month segment. If anyone has a module they want to highlight, bring it down!
Personally, I am still learning about the composer_manager module and how to use it to develop modern object oriented PHP within Drupal 7. I'd be more then happy to highlight some of the ways we can adopt some of these newer techniques. They are critical as we move forward into a D8 world.
