In this Jon will cover integrating CiviCRM, an open-source CRM aimed at non-profits, with Drupal. Because the core of CiviCRM installs as a Drupal module, we can use some Drupal-specific tricks for extremely tight integration. Expect us to cover the major integration points and the state of Drupal 8 integration.
Bio
Jon Goldberg is a former political organizer and non-profit IT drone turned web developer. He has been working with Drupal since 2007 and CiviCRM since 2010. Outside of work, Jon can be found engaging in queer community organizing, disassembling electronics, and training parrots.

How to consume services in Drupal 8, then present it in theme layer using Twig by Tajinder Minhas
In this presentation Tajinder will be covering basics of REST API. How Drupal 8 supports REST with core modules and how you can expose or create content using Rest Services. Some basic examples of exposing content with views as GET requests, creating node, comment, users using default post API endpoints provided by Drupal core. Basic Drupal 8 custom module for creating GET and POST endpoints, consuming these endpoints in separate Drupal installation and theming front end based on the output of example endpoints.
Bio
Tajinder is Tech Lead working with NBC. He started using Drupal in 2010 during his college's final year and since has worked on all layers of Drupal from Development to Theming to Hosting to Support. He has worked with Drupal, Wordpress and Zend in varied domains such as E-commerce, Education, CRM, Portal etc. and integrated several 3rd party applications with them. Architect and Lead contributor of Techtud. He is at present fascinated with Python based libraries for Biometric Authentication and Chatbots and how Drupal can be utilized with them.

He is based out of Square's headquarters in San Francisco.
