This weekend’s Drupal camp will be the 20th Drupal Camp in NYC, a history that extends back to the 1st NYC Drupal camp in May 2003 (just one month after the first US Drupalcamp held in San Francisco in April of that year.)

In order to facilitate the best possible camp experience for everyone, and to accommodate for audience skill levels and expectations, we will be accepting impromptu requests for sessions or BoFs to be added to the schedule during the morning plenary. This is in keeping with the “unconference” tradition, which has been our format for the majority of the now 20 Drupal Camps hosted here in NYC.

Additionally, we are really honored to have as our featured talk, David Strauss of Pantheon, speaking on “Life on the Edge: CDN and HTTPS Delivery in 2017”. David is the co-founder and principal architect of Pantheon, the Drupal Platform-as-a-Service provider and a hugely admired member of the Drupal community with deep technical knowledge and commitment to software freedom.

Our new tentative schedule is as follows:

9:00 am to 9:30 am Plenary and unconference planning

9:30 am to 2:00 pm - we will break this into chunks based on what we decide in the unconference planning.

At 11:15 am we will have the featured talk from David Strauss, followed by an open Q&A.

If there is interest for lightning talks, we will break up a slot to accommodate for that.

See you on Saturday 9am at Convene, 730 3rd Ave, 17th floor.
