Next Month’s Meetup

RSVPs are open and presentations are posted for next month’s meetup on Feb 5. Thank you to Boyle Software for providing the venue and to Pantheon for sponsoring food and drink!

Last meetup we had over forty no-shows who prevented over a dozen people on the waitlist from attending. Venue capacity is limited so please be considerate by cancelling your RSVP at least 48 hours prior if you no longer plan to attend to allow those on the waitlist to do so.

Join the Drupal NYC Community on Slack

The DrupalNYC Slack is where our offline community lives online. Our Slack is the best place to ask for help, post job opportunities, organize events, and stay in touch with your fellow New York Drupalers.

If you haven’t used Slack before, don’t worry; it’s easy (and free)!

Join DrupalNYC Slack for the first time and you’ll automatically find yourself a member of the #community channel where you can post general questions and announcements.

Once you’re a member, you can log in to DrupalNYC Slack on the web or, preferably, log in using Slack's mobile and desktop apps so you can be notified of new posts.

If you want to post or learn about job opportunities, be sure to join the #jobpost channel and adjust your notifications to suit your preferences.

You can learn more about using Slack with .

If you’re having trouble joining or using Slack, email feedback@drupalnyc.org and we’ll be happy to help.

DrupalCampNYC 2020 Planning

Planning for DrupalCampNYC 2020 is commencing! Join DrupalCampNYC Lead Organizer Vasil Grozdanoski and other volunteers in the DrupalNYC Slack channel #drupalcampnyc-discuss to help make this event a reality.

The first in-person planning meeting will be after work on Tuesday, January 28. For details and to RSVP, please join #drupalcampnyc-discuss.

Improve drupalnyc.org

Have some free time or time to volunteer? Want to learn something new and get to know your fellow NYC Drupalers? Whatever your experience, you can help improve our new website, drupalnyc.org. This is a great opportunity for beginners to receive mentorship from more experienced Drupalers while working on a real website!

Join the DrupalNYC Slack channel #website-improve to get involved.

Speak at a Meetup

We are always looking for speakers! You can do a very short lightning talk or a longer presentation. What have you been working on? What cool module did you just discover? Got tips for managing a project? Anything of interest to the Drupal community is welcome.

Volunteer to speak or request a topic and we’ll find a speaker: speak@drupalnyc.org

Provide Feedback

We’d love your feedback on our monthly meetups. What’s going well? What could be improved? Want to help organize? Whatever you have to say, please send it to feedback@drupalnyc.org or you can contact an organizer directly.
