We've planned a site visit to CSUN (California State University, Northridge) on Thurs. Dec 15th at 3pm, to determine if it will work as the venue for the Drupal Design Camp we're planning for mid-February 2012.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in starting to help organize this event.

Agenda:	This is a working meetup. Come teach others to contribute by letting them watch you. Come learn by watching and participating. Post issue suggestions in comments below. At our last meetup, we went through the process and RTBC'd one lingering issue. This meetup we'll split into at least two working groups and hope to RTBC much more.
Raffle:	We'll have prizes at meetups with attendance of 15 (or more). Based on attendance last month, a raffle seems likely. We have coupons and DVD's from the awesome Drupal training people at www.BuildAModule.com -- with over 500 Drupal specific videos available for streaming, download, or on DVD.

Completing a study group is always a good time to party! We will have free food and beverages. Come join the discussion one more time and return the books that were borrowed.

One major topic of discussion is how I can improve the study group for the next time I lead it starting in early February. Another great topic of discussion will be do you have any exercises you want to add, since the book does not have exercises at the end of the chapters.

Of course the party will be at Droplabs!

Due to the holidays, the next Downtown LA Drupal meetup in December has been rescheduled to be on Friday, December 16, 2011. We're being hosted again by Droplabs, an event and coworking space in Downtown Los Angeles created by LA Drupal members for LA Drupal community. This time we're combining our meetup with a holiday party and food drive. You're invited!

LA Drupal meetups follow a basic format and start off with Drupal news and announcements, local job announcements, raffle prizes and presentations. We're forgoing full-length presentations this time and will be opening the floor to 5-10 minute-long presentations known as lightning talks. As always, we'll have our community Q&A, during which time anyone in attendance can ask questions and divine answers from the crowd. We'll finish off the night with more networking and a Drupal After Dark at 9:30pm.

Light food and refreshments will be served throughout the evening courtesy of our food and drink sponsor, Exaltation of Larks, a Drupal strategy, consulting, development and training company with a team of Drupal experts in Los Angeles.

The next Downtown LA Drupal meetup is on January 17, 2012 and will be at Droplabs, a Drupal event and coworking space in Downtown Los Angeles. Drupal After Dark at Classic Q for those interested. 

Hi everyone - there has been a medical emergency in my family and I will be unable to host the meetup at HMC. The meetup will be rescheduled for another date since we don't currently have an alternate location in the area.

The monthly Inland Empire Drupal meetup will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 7-8:45pm. Following the meetup we'll head over to BJ's for some happy hour drupal fun. This is a free event and everyone is invited - we have a large venue (seats 40+) so come on out and join us! If you'd like to follow along just bring your laptop / charger.
