Announcing NYC Camp 2014! April 10th - April 13th
NYC Camp (aka 'nice camp') is an annual 4 day mini Drupal conference held in NYC dedicated to Drupal learning and contribution. Best of all it's completely free and volunteer powered! This past year we had a spectacular event packed with trainings, sessions, summits and sprints. We've got a great event in the works and expect NYC Camp 2014 to rock even harder than last year!

Register on NYCCamp.org
Quick note for anyone who clicked 'Sign up' on this g.d.o event node - that won't register you for the camp.
Everyone who wants to attend should register at http://nyccamp.org/user/register, whether or not you're volunteering.
Thanks and looking forward to seeing everyone :)
Be sure to register for the camp too!
http://www.nyccamp.org/user/register opens an account for you on the site. You also need to register for the camp.
To register for the Camp, click on -Select- which is below the words "This registration is for:*", towards the bottom of the "Register for the NYC Camp 14" block on your user page. Choose "Myself" if this registration is for you, and click the blue "Save Registration" button. The page you are sent to shows you details of your registration and a green confirmation message.
From that point forward, you can check that you are registered for the camp (and for any other registered events you have signed up for) by going to My Profile in the main menu and clicking on the My Registrations link.
Schedule for Saturday is here
Hey Everyone, in case you missed the announcement this week, the session schedule for Saturday is posted at nyccamp.org/program/sessions-schedule
In addition to the dozens of really amazing sessions we also have an amazing afternoon keynote by UN CITO & Assistant Secretary General Atifeh Riazi. Immediately following her keynote she will be joined by Drupal Association executive director Holly Ross for a discussion on Female Technology Leadership, moderated by Angie "Webchick" Byron.
Individual session description pages all have an "add to my schedule" link so you can create your own personalized schedule in advance of the event.
Check out the full schedule and plan your NYC Camp experience: Saturday Keynotes & Sessions Schedule
View your sessions by clicking the link in My Profile
After you add a session to your schedule, you can view a list of your sessions by clicking the link in My Profile. My Profile is in the main menu which is the menu across the top of every page.
There's a link for your registrations in My Profile too!

Pass this to the woman looking to stop high-power electric lines
Please pass this to the woman who was looking to stop high-power electric lines going through her town. Taking the suggestion of a campaign for energy conservation to save those six days of power that would necessitate extra power lines, here's an app that just won a Boston hackathon for reporting places with lights that are on unnecessarily:
