Statement of NYC community solidarity against violence
This is my proposed agenda item.
I will post a short statement that I plan to read at the meetup. It will be a simple statement condemning violence or threats of violence against any member of our group for any reason. I will post it in advance and I would invite anyone who wants to to stand with me to do so. I don't think it will require discussion as I intend it to be a very straightforward statement that anyone should be able to support.

I really think this agenda item should go forward. I'm hopeful we'll have a quorum to do so, but either way I don't think we should delay this.
