Drupal Commons 3.0 for Disaster Relief: RecoveryHub
We're a startup nonprofit using Drupal Commons 3.0 to build a new platform for disaster relief called RecoveryHub. It is one of the first platforms to bring together survivors and relief agencies in one place for help, information, and collaboration. If there is interest we could do a brief presentation although it would be pretty non-technical.
Sounds great, we will add
Sounds great, we will add this to the meeting.
It's on!
Woohoo, we are having a meetup Wednesday, will be good to see everyone again!
I'm looking forward to this...
I'll be there but won't be at the bar afterwards.
I will be there
We have recently converted all of our sites, including Advocate.com, to Drupal. Now moving to Drupal 7. Advocate is the largest LGBT politics and rights publication, print and digital. Although we are for-profit organization, we have been instrumental in the promotion of LGBT issues for over 45 years. If there is interest, I could give a short presentation including a preview of our new fully responsive site still in development.
Adding to the agenda!
Hey Dave,
This sounds like a great presentation -- we will add it to the agenda :)

Cool. Do I need to bring any equipment? Everything is online.
I think it's probably wise to
I think it's probably wise to bring a dongle (and your laptop) :D Looking forward to your presentation!

If y'all want to hear me talk about things and stuff, maybe about JavaScript and eq.js or something like that, I'm happy to.

Sorry, not vague enough. Can you be less specific?
Maybe?

Solr/Google CSE Help
I'm looking for help with implementing Apache Solr and/or Google CSE into a site. I'll be willing to walk over the steps I've taken so far and explain my current blockers. I'm looking forward to talking with people who have already implemented either of these search solutions and hearing about their experience with them.
@dsteplight
See me and I will put you in touch with my sysop. See you tonight. I am wearing a 'Data is the new Bacon' T-shirt.
Thanks Dude...
Will your sysop be there? I would love to leave there will a working solution or worst case scenario something I can have working before the end of the week.
p.s.
Even though I'm a vegetarian I love that shirt. I'll keep an eye out for you.
Thanks for a great meeting
Thanks to all for the positive feedback and interest in my presentation. Looking forward to the next meeting.
Thanks all
Thanks Dave and also thanks all for your feedback on the RecoveryHub presentation.
