Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Greetings,

Will keep this short. If anyone is interested in an informal unconference to be held in April, please post a comment here. I envision us doing this with 5-8 classrooms and one sufficient-sized coder lounge for on-the-fly sprinting.

LMK, thanks, -Joe B.

Hi! I'd certainly be interested in participating/attending. Though I don't know that I'll be much use in planning/organizing, at least not this year.

Well all righty then, we're off to the races :-)

Lets do a conference call this coming Wednesday at 5:30pm. For those that want to be part of this, please drop me a quick email me at joe (AT) bachana.com and I'll send you the call-in information.

We'll go over these topics:

  1. Review of unconference format
  2. Thoughts about a Drupal 8 sprint effort as part of the festivities (minimally a coder lounge)
  3. Location opportunities
  4. Initial divvying up of volunteer planning efforts

Thanks All! -Joe B

Last call for volunteers

Hi All,

For those of you that said you would like to help, the camp is this Sunday morning. We still need day-of volunteers. The shifts are quite short (no longer than an hour) so you'll have plenty of time to get to different sessions.

At this point, if you haven't already registered for the camp, thats your first step. Go to http://goo.gl/22LnX5 to register.

Second, go to www.drupalcamp.nyc/contact to register for a volunteer slot. The morning breakfast set up slots are all taken, but others are open.

Thanks in advance and hope to see you Sunday morning at D3NYC.

-J
