Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Start:
2007-08-28 19:00 - 21:00 America/New_York

This month's meetup will take place next Tuesday, August 28th from 7-9pm in the Fast Company headquarters at 7 World Trade Center. WTC security requires that we present them with a list of attendees by 3pm the day before the event, so please pop your name on the wiki below if you think you might come.

Jacob will be joining us via video conference from LA with updates on DrupalCampLA and his other nefarious activities. After seeing Jacob off we'll do a series of 5-10 minute lightening talks. Paul Malorana will discuss some of the Drupal work going on at Fast Company/Inc. and Robbie The Geek will do a little show and tell after a busy month that included the launch of thehotreportonline.com. We have time for at least 4 more presenters, so please don't hold back. We especially want to hear from Ninjas who can present on a specific topic like Drupal 6, CCK, Theming, etc.. Remember, every time you share your knowledge an angel gets it's wings!

Finally, we'll break into a Newbie group and an advanced Dev/Design Group for about 40 minutes. Afterwards, I'm sure a few of us will head over to one of the local dive bars.

Too Late

I guess I saw this a bit too late, but I'd like to attend the "local dive bar" segment anyway. Possible?

Just bring your photo ID and come a little early

The security guards were quite reasonable about letting people in as long as they had a photo ID. Just make sure to be there a little early in case there is any issue. If there is a problem, you can call me at 917-204-2847.
