When last we left our intrepid drupalcamp devotees they had just given up their first set of dates as be too soon and moved to the weekend after DrupalCon Boston.
Alas, our normal location is hosting BarCampNYC the weekend of the 15/16 - which should be a ton of fun, I'll be there. We then, again intrepidly, looked into the weekend after that 22/23 - but remembered that Easter is the 23rd this year, and apparently some people do some stuff for that sometimes.
We are still intrepid, and moving on to the 29/30th of March. Needless to say, this is not set in stone. If anyone feels this process is frustrating, I suggest you comment here http://groups.drupal.org/node/8336 on making it better.
Right now I have more volunteers than jobs to do - until we finalize a location/date, at which point I will be going back over the various peoples who have said they would help and I wrangling them into some kind of a press gang.
For communication that doesn't warrant a full on post I am using a donated mailing list, it isn't private, it's just convenient, hit up my contact form if you want to be added to it. It'll almost certainly be temporary until we get date established and onto an organizational toolset of some sort. BTW, did some one set up a BarCamp wiki page, can you link me to it?
This has been a test of the DrupalCampNYC broadcasting system. Had this been an actual DrupalCampNYC announcement, I'd know something more concrete and be handing out tasks. Thank you for your attention.

Word. Perhaps we should
Word. Perhaps we should wait a little longer after BarCamp? I love *camps but they are rather taxing in terms of time.
