New build OP 2.3 - 441 : what's new ?

what is the main diff. between the new OP 2.3 build 441 (2011) and OP 2.3 build 375 (end of 2010) ?

Any release notes somewhere ?

Warning message when updating OpenPublish from 2.2 to 2.3

I noticed som ewarning messages when I ran update.php after updating OpenPublish from OpenPublish-2.2-Build285 to OpenPublish-2.3-Build441. I don't believe the warning message is anything to worry about, but I thought I should document it here in case anyone else sees it and wonders what is going on.

The warning messages I got were:

Started with this post: Add editor: XStandard (+ other desktop/browser side plug-ins?). Add info & edit to get more structured. Researching for solutions eating lesser server resources, so a desktop/browser side plug-in might be the solution. I haven't seen another like (the quality of) XStandard. But then I found many other browser/desktop editors:

Does anyone know where the "Author Page Layout" and "Topichubs" custom page layouts are stored? I would like the make variants, but I cannot find the files in the standard /sites/all/modules/panels/plugins/layouts directory.

publishing time not creation time on page! help

hi to all

op is really my favorite i must say, i want only one thing to know that in template frontend ad in article section i need only publish time to show not creation time because my editor edited story and put story for publish on certain time but when it published it shows creation time, but for archive and my need is, that it should show published time not creation time. Please help !

Articles by This Author on Author Page Broken at Install

I am having issues getting articles to display on an author's page. When I test the view using the author's nid, everything shows up fine in the preview. When I actually access an author's page, nothing shows up aside from the author's name and information. In the Pages "Author Page" variant, under "Content," I get the error message "Deleted/missing content type views / Missing content type / This pane's content type is either missing or has been deleted. This pane will not render."

I tried installing a "clean" version of OP, and it looks like the problem starts out of the box. Any ideas?

Anyone know where the style is that controls the merlot arrows that follow article title (h2) links in OpenPublish core theme? Or is it a style at all?

Image gallery for content types

Hi all,

Does anyone know about how to implement this functionality:

I have three content type 1: movie, 2: artist and 3: event and I have to create image galleries for all three content types.

The way I know is :
I created three content types again 1: moviegallery for movie, 2: artistgallery for artist and 3: eventgallery for event.
And I put a node reference field for each gallery content type ie. movie for moviegallery, artist for artistgallery and event for eventgallery.

i dont know what is happening to site teasers some times i found some times no line break as per teaser boundary is concern problem is text goes straight it looses my layout

Page errors with admin.toolbar.js in Open Publish 2.3

Just installed Open Publish 2.3 install package on a shared host. Everything appears to be working fine with the exception of the following page load error in IE8:

Link list in OP Resources not working after moving to another server

I have a strange problem regarding OpenPublish resources items. In an OP resource item, there is an option to add the URLs with descriptions. I have a few such items and they used to work fine until I moved my site to another vps. Instead of showing the listed link items, it only shows the bullets.

It could be permission related issue, but I am not sure. Both servers (old and new) run Debian 5.0 and I've rsynced the files.

For example, I've created a test resource at http://www.stattler.com/resource/test-resource which shows the bullets only.

imagecache problems

Just set up openpublish. Added a new article and loaded a main image. The image loaded fine to the server. When i check the page (new article) there is no image. When i look at source it's looking for the image in the wrong directory it's looking for the image here .../sites/default/files/imagecache/spotlight_homepage/image.jpg but the image is actually here .../sites/default/files/imagecache/image.jpg.
For some reason the image is not loaded into .../sites/default/files/imagecache/spotlight_homepage/ but instead going here .../sites/default/files/imagecache/.

How to update the "Available update"

Main blog page does not show author names...

Unable to upload images

I'm currently unable to upload pictures to my openpublish install and need some help....

I'd uploaded OpenPublish and got everything configured, then I hit a number of problems.

I ran cron, added the google analytics module and ran update.php. I also deleted an article which had a thumbnail and main image attached.

These may not be the issues, but they began after this point.

Basically whenever I try to upload an image the files are greyed out and cannot be selected, trying to browse to images within the appropriate folder doesn't work either - even though they are there.

Can a Menu item be made to open in new tab or window?

Is it possible to have an individual menu heading open in a new window or tab?

If this is possible would it take major recoding, as I am a novice and that may be above my skill level.

Can anyone tell me where to remove or change the 'Articles in' heading at the top of an Articles content type list page?

I can't find a template that controls this.

Has anyone tried to create an author archives block that has the same functionality as the Views archive view? Our writers have really started using the blogs and I'd love to give each their own space for visitors who want to follow them.

Hi all!
In all pages of the admin menu on openpublish i see this error: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in C:\xampplite\htdocs\drupal\includes\common.inc on line 552
but in this file i have no max_execution_time to change..
How have i to do?
