Ubercart, 2Checkout and ZAR
Hi Everyone!
I'm finding that South Africa users are not comfortable paying in $US via Ubercart. My credit card system is setup with 2checkout.com ..
How would I create, even if it's another product (though it assigns a role), but in SA currency that would then charge the credit card in ZAR's.
The way I see it one product will be in $US's and the other production in ZAR's, but either assigns the role to the user once payment is complete.
Has anyone perhaps have a solution to this please .. this is a paying job :)
Thanx and look forward to any reply.
Lilian

The Orchestra Team is busy integrating the best CMS in the world to the best small business software in the world. Ok, ok, that's a little grandiose.
Here's what we do:
SAP Business One is a business management system designed for small and mid-size companies. Check it out here: http://www.orchestrateam.com/content/why-sap-business-one
SAP Business One handles all facets of the business, including Financials, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Reporting. This is the platform for our integration, as everything ties into SAP Business One.
Using webform and UC: uc_webform_productize -- an analysis
I'm currently looking at http://drupal.org/project/uc_webform_productize with a view to how it could be used for event registration.
My current use case is:
- one site
- several events
- registration is paid
- events have options such as how many days you want to attend, diet requirements. these affect price.
Sub theme of Zen used for OoglieBooglie.com
We recently launched a sub theme of Zen for a client here in Virginia Beach, VA -- http://www.oogliebooglie.com. OoglieBooglie is a place where artists and art lovers gather. Artists create designs that they think would look great printed on a T shirt. OoglieBooglie and the members vote for the designs they think are the best. Then, OoglieBooglie prints the design on T shirts and sells them on the site. The artist then gets paid $2 USD per shirt sold on the site for an entire year.

Read morePCI DSS compliance for ecommerce
As a follow up from a question at the May 26 meeting, I looked into what it takes to become PCI DSS compliant.
I thought I'd share what I learned. (PCI DSS = Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard)
Summary:
I don't think Ubercart needs to be PCI DSS compliant. However, if you use a partner like Authorize.NET to process the card, you can be considered PCI DSS compliant if you perform and attest to a self assessment.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to the March (central) Florida Drupal User's Group meetup yesterday at MindComet's offices in Altamonte Springs. We had about 10 people there, including 1 new person.
We started the meetup with a DrupalCon DC discussion. 5 of us at the meetup were at DrupalCon, so we decided to run through the DrupalCon schedule and give (very) quick summaries of the sessions we found most interesting and the top one or two things we learned. It was a fairly quick and informative way to cover things.
Read moreUbercart and Assigned Seating...
I'm the webmaster for the Miami Gay Men's Chorus and we've been using phpmyticket, a dead php project. A few people have spun this off into fusionticket. Since drupal has many more options when it comes to nodes and views and I'd really like to create something similar to the assigned seats function in drupal. I'm willing to put in the work, however I'm more of a themer and need some hand holding getting into this project. This would be a boon to many non-profit performing arts groups that have the need for assigned seating. Any suggestions and or help would be greatly appreciated!
