Radio BOF at Drupalcon Chicago?
Hi all -
I'd love to have a chance to meet you and talk radio and drupal, so I've put a post on the Drupalcon forums about a radio BOF. http://chicago2011.drupal.org/forum/radio-bof
I'm a rank newbie as far as Drupalcons go, but I'll organize this (and by organize, I mean, put the BOF on the board and facilitate).
Please chime in on the forum if you're interested!

It's been mentioned and discussed informally, but we finally have confirmed details for the Sprint-to-Drupalcon Bus. We're ready for signups and looking forward to an awesome journey with great people! Sign up or Sponsor to get your seat today (hurry though - space is limited to 54 seats).
Overview
The Twin Cities Drupal Community is organizing a bus to Drupalcon Chicago. The bus will be part Drupal Sprint (work on docs or modules or code or anything else that you think will help make Drupal better), part socializing (we'll have drinks, snacks and refreshments for all) and part fun! We also believe this to be the world's first mobile Drupal sprint - so jump on board today and you'll be able to tell your grandchildren about it.
Security session, training, BOF at Drupalcon Chicago
First, if you haven't already you should sign up for Drupalcon Chicago.
This year we've got a relatively small number of sessions at Drupalcon Chicago about security.
- Drupal Security for Coders - this is a presentation on the most common attack scenarios and how to code/configure to protect against them
DrupalCon Core Conversation: HTML5 + Drupal 8
I've been having a lot of conversations about HTML5 and Drupal 8 this week while in Chicago — both with people here and with people back in New York. And the Core Conversation proposal deadline is coming up soon!
This is what I'm thinking. Let's present a real-world "This Is What We Think Should Be Done". As a call-to-action, where people can get involved and there are leaders driving each thing.
I'm thinking of submitting this proposal. And present as a team, team-tag style (one person do each section):

What's going on with DrupalCon Chicago? Are people already registering and setting dates and times to be there? What about transportation? I'm wondering how many days to book in Chicago.

I'm looking for a co-speaker to submit a DrupalCon Chicago session on Services and Open API's. I want to take up the Open API part with three main topics:
* How to build an Open API with Services: modules used, write your own resource, authentication
* How to monetize your Open API
* How to promote your Open API
I'll be using a in production example which is currently in being tested and documented (more later).
I'm looking forward to find a co-speaker!

Support for multilingual D7 is not ready yet, but it certainly be until DrupalCon Chicago in March. We're so committed to it that we proposed a session on about just that:
http://chicago2011.drupal.org/sessions/drupal-7-s-multilingual-system
Once you register to this DrupalCon (which I'm sure you're going to), remember to check out this session proposal and vote for it.
It's going to be fun.
You'll be hearing about how Drupal manages translations, how to build a multilingual theme and how to get existing translations for Drupal core and contributed modules.
Until the session, you can view the status in our multilingual D7 progress page.

Edit: changed the title from "Drupalcon for women" because while this conversation started about ways to remove barriers for women, it's not specific to women. It's for anybody who may feel excluded because of sex, race, religion, sexuality, age, skin color, health, experience, or whatever.
Are there specific things you'd like us to do at Drupalcon or before Drupalcon to address the needs of women who are thinking about coming to Drupalcon, or planning to come to Drupalcon?
Things I can imagine:
- Ensure that there's more than just a Drupalchix BOF. Maybe a talk?
DrupalCon Copenhagen Review
DrupalCon in Copenhagen is over and here is a first resume.
The Copenhagen team has done a great work and Drupal Bulgaria's co-founder Ivo Radulovski is glad to have been part of the conference.
Ivo Radulovski attended at the meeting between the European Associations and community leaders from +20 countries, representing the Drupal Bulgaria Foundation together with Christian Ziegler, representing Drupal Austria and here are our ideas for Europe:
* Cooperation between European Associations
* European Camps divided into different topics
The topics and next events are:
