I have a problem. Yesterday a very large influx of visitors to our site brought down our server! :( After some investigation we noticed that we had about 10K visitors in a 9min span before our server went down. We were told by our tech support that our server requires more memory (currently at 2GB) and to reduce the phpMemory limit (currently at 128MB) as well the the number of maximum Clients served.

I am currently working on rebuilding our company website with Drupal 6 and looking to build some contacts with skilled drupal developers in the area (Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton). Specifically looking for someone that is available for consultation, support and/or development assistance on an as-needed basis. In other words, when we run into development beyond our knowledge, or get snagged on something along the way, we could contact you and hire you to assist or support.

More good news! They're using Webex for the live stream which means there's the usual support for Windows & Mac but ALSO Linux support & even Solaris!

I installed Open Pushish http://openpublishapp.com and I'm testing this Drupal Tailored Distro.

I tried to create my first Topic Hub, but when I add Condition 1 (Topic -> Business -> Condition 1) and after I save I get a Blank Page with this error message:

Fatal error: Class name must be a valid object or a string in /home/~/openpublish/sites/all/modules/ctools/includes/export.inc on line 905

I don't know what is wrong.

I installed openpublish in shared hosting by webfaction.com
All work properly but Topic Hubs have this problem.

I installed openpublish 2.3 build 441.

So, as I receive the group discussion emails, it's made me wonder if there is any interest in, or if there is already, an openpublish irc room? I looked on freenode, but didn't see anything.

If this doesn't exist:
*Are there enough OP advanced users to support this?
*Are there enough general users to support this?

Personally, I think this would be tremendous. But I am also not the maintainer, etc.

One thing we talked about at the BoF in San Francisco was the value of having a place where people could gather and work together, help and be helped. So, inspired by all of you, a few of us at UC Berkeley have started up a monthly Builders Lounge for in-person collaboration, support, and general Drupalitude.

I am trying to create a discussion system on my Drupal website, (yet to be published).

The feature of that discussion system are:

I have node type debate, where a topic is enlisted and the other members will post "replies" hence discussion.

However I am trying to find a module or set of modules which can do these:

1) Set a timer on the node, ie, expires a node after a set time say after a week (I tried module node_expire)

2) After node expiry "replies" are disabled

3) Revoke the node author's permission to edit that node.
