Solution for x 2 SSL's sitting on same architecture?

Hi

I was hoping someone might be able to help with an issue that I have.

Basically I want two different SSL's (as they belong to two different and independent companies) to sit on my AWS architecture but my architect is trying to tell me this is not possible, which I personally can't quite believe.

The current system has been working perfectly for around 6 months using the x 1 SSL cert, but now I want to use a 2nd SSL cert this is where the problem has raised its head.

The Drupal way to add Div's and Javascript to D7

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could advise me the best way (the advised Drupal way) to add some html and javascript a SSL provider has passed me to pull in their Trust Seal to my site.

Ideally I'd like to add it as a Block but assumed if I pasted the entire contents into a block under 'Full HTML' that perhaps it might not be secure (or certainly might not be the Drupal advised way).

The code has been provided in two ways, either (A) altogether or (B) separated between Java Script and HTML.

SSL Certificates - Advice in buying?

I'm currently looking at buying a SSL certificate and attaching to one of my domains. The main reason (along with encryption) is to provide more peace-of-mind for users who will providing their personal data (we are also signed up to data protection).

Can anyone provide any advice as I'm totally new to this, especially in regards to:

  • green bar or not (and if not do you think the average Joe will understand the site is SSL)?
  • best companies in relation to price and service?

Taxonomy - what technically happens when you delete or change a taxonomy term

What actually happens to a content type's term reference field if you (1) edit/change a taxonomy term or (2) delete a term (considering the taxonomy is part of a live content type)?

I'm wondering as I'm considering giving users the ability to add to taxonomies if the term is not already available. If I'm correct I think if I allow them to add new terms in can add them to (A) a new taxonomy (which easily distinguishes the new terms to check) or (B) to the end of the existing taxonomy (which I ever I choose).

Ultimate Definitive World List? Regions, Cities, Towns - does anyone have one?

Hi

Does anyone out there have a definitive world list of all the countries, their regions, cities and towns etc that they might be able to pass to me?

I've been trying to create my own and its a hell of a task, and there's so much conflicting information.

A full definitive list would be the ideal, but failing that I would easily settle for:

  1. UK & Ireland
  2. United States
  3. Canada
  4. Australia
  5. New Zealand
  6. Germany
  7. Spain
  8. France
  9. Italy

Any help would be greatly appreciated as the Location module just doesn't appear to be definitive.

Thank you

Stephen

Turn off Error Messages... but keep all others?

Is it possible just to turn-off error messages but show all other messages, particularly showing only the green system messages? The 'Error messages to display' does not appear to allow for this.

Most of you will probably thinking 'why do you need this', but unfortunately due to circumstances I have no other choice at this time but to do this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why is Views (on saving) spitting out a screen of garbage?

Could anyone provide any insight as to why views is spitting out garbage on saving content?

Basically it goes to a white page with loads of garbled text on it.

It appears to save the view but once it renders the garbage page I then have to re-navigate back to views (which is a major headache) to make any changes (and then again when I save its back to square one with garbled text).

See screenshot (which is only part of it).

Thank you

Stephen

Live site - fieldsets, selectors, etc - not there or not working? Cannot drag menus either.

Hi, hoping someone can help.

For some reason in my live version of my site, all the collapsable fieldsets (grey boxes) are missing.... they're there (as plain black text, not grey boxes), but they can't be selected, opened or anything, so none of the settings on the page can be changed i.e. if I create content I cannot click or make any revision settings.

Additionally, the select box to select 'all' content in the content section has just disappeared.

Additionally, I cannot drag menus in the menu page, it just freezes.

Mobile Navigation - Working on Local site but not on live (both in Safari)?

If anyone can help with the following it would be greatly appreciated as I'm quickly becoming grey haired over it.

Basically I have a site that's navigation works perfectly on all local versions but has issues when testing the live site on the most of the same browsers (please note all files are identical in terms of those on local and live server).

Views Table - How to add a horizontal scroll bar?

I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to - with what I thought would be a simple fix - get a horizontal scroll bar to appear within a View's table.

I have a silly example just to see if anyone can help using Firebug or similar, as the production site is not yet available (I could then apply this fix to the real site).

The Views Table appears at http://www.yousayuk.com/page/about-us under the title 'test-3' and just pulls in some random data to demonstrate how the table stretches beyond that which is expected.

Best way to test live site without using Maintenance Mode?

Can anyone advise the best way to test a 'live' site without having to go into Maintenance Mode?

Basically I just want to ensure that it doesn't appear on search engines or get listed, and if there is something that is advised it needs to be something that won't be to the detriment of the site indexed/listed when I actually want it to.

For those that might be questioning why I want to do this without using MM is basically to test a Facebook login to see how it works and performs etc.

Thanks

D7 'Aggregate and Compress CSS Files' - live site losing styles???

Hi

Everytime I select 'Aggregate and Compress CSS Files' in D7 Performance settings on my live site I'm instantly losing my styles. However on my local machine this does not happen. Interestingly this only happens on my live site when I have my sub-theme of Bartik selected. If I use the default Bartik theme there is no issue. I've searched Google and found a plethora of possibilities but I still haven't found the solution. If anyone could advise it would greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Google+ Hangout anyone?

We're all really busy but its good to get together, share best practice, new discoveries, triumphs and problems. How about a virtual get-together over a Google+ hangout?

If you're up for it let me know the best time of day for you and I'll try to co-ordinate one that suits the majority.

Advice on best way to serve Audio Files (MP3 etc) - Linux Box

Hi

I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice or experience with using small/short audio files in their websites?

I'm intending on placing the odd audio clip into a survey to test advertising effectiveness. The audio clip will be short, around 30 seconds and the survey might be hit by a 1000 users over the period (with the possibility of up to 300 users accessing the survey - and the resulting audio file - at anyone time (depending on when they hit the server).
