Got an email saying we've got an L.B. meeting tomorrow night (It gave http://groups.drupal.org/taxonomy/term/24068 as the URL for the details and rsvp.
I know I've been absent from the last several hookups but I can guarantee I'm not going to make it tomorrow night, considering I'll prolly be snorting crushed up alka-seltzer an motrin all day while writhing in misery from the sins I plan to commit tonight (I smell the bbq already) - I'm going to really abuse myself tonight gastrointestinally - Everything from the live ocean cockroaches that we're going to drop into vats of boiling water to murdered bovine and swine, and perhaps even some foul played fowl, not to mention that I'm seriously considering making the conscious (no pun intended) decision of deliberately mixing Jack with merlot and oatmeal stout for an effect that can only be truly exceeded by the added contribution of a little mixture of radishes and several jalapenos.
Oh it's gonna be sick - and it's almost millertime :)
Looking forward to seeing everyone next month. I really dig this group - especially our Long Beach hookups!

We're not meeting tomorrow. That'd be labor day... and I don't know about everyone else, but I'm going to a pool party or some-such.
But ya, we rescheduled the August meetup a week and a day late,,, which turns out it's now a September 4th meetup. Thanks for asking tho, because it seems the meetup.com event was updated but not GDO, until tonight: http://groups.drupal.org/node/251743

I also won't be able to make it out to this meetup. The High Performance Drupal meetup in Downtown Los Angeles is already scheduled for the same time and I'll be there instead:

For the record, I don't think there's really any competition between these two meetups. Many people don't know this, but the Downtown Los Angeles Drupal group is a separate user group with its own meetups:

I trust that so long as everyone has accurate and relevant information, Drupaleros will go to the meetups that are geographically convenient for them, have topics they're interested in and are fun and well-organized.
