Fellow Drupalers: Could I ask you to take 1 minute a day over the next few weeks to help Hurricane Sandy-affected residents still not home 18 months later?
Vote for my "cause" on Facebook once a day from now until May 16th. We are building a Drupal-based site to serve disaster-affected communities and are a finalist for a 25k grant from State Farm to make it happen.

Thanks for the support Doug. Let's help bring more attention to the 25,000 people in NYC still displaced or living in homes needing repair from Hurricane Sandy.

Thanks Forest. Although we did not win the State Farm grant we are continuing with building a proof of concept in Drupal around the RecoveryHub site. The goal is to create something that will be a central source of recovery information post-disaster for those affected as well as the recovery worker/volunteer community. We'll post any updates on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/therecoveryhub until we get the website up.
