Druplicon Minimalist
It's simple
but this is definitely the kind of shirt I think I'd wear frequently. It's definitely the kind of shirt people would come up to you on the street and say "what's that" which of course gives you a chance to tell them more than they want to know about Drupal!

tweaking the minimalist design
I love the minimalist drupal icon, but 1) don't love the font, and 2) think we can get it all on one side of the shirt (cheaper to print!).

The font can be easily be changed
not sure I'd go with a script and definitely would want to print on the back, the majority of the expense is the garment and once that is paid for we should get the most exposure possible, that means 2 sides.
The Drupal-NYC QR-Code duckxtales came up with is great. Showing the barcode on the back of the shirt along with the IRC channel would add some geek mystique, IMHO.
My pick for the typeface: Courier or some other monospace font one might use in terminal

Front of the shirt has been done for Toronto. Like using the flaming Druplicon but some sort of mod would make it ours.

It was done at drupalcondc for the badges. It's a nifty trick, but personally I don't think I'd want to wear a shirt with a barcode on it so much.

Without the searchlight over the skyline context, this looses the "Batman" metaphor for me.

I'm a huge fan of @wildfeed's subway logo, and would love to do that on a shirt:
I guess with white that would be a five color print, which is a little on the expensive side.
Anyone else have any preferences? Get voting!

I don't know if I am too late but.....
How about keeping one of the most popular shirts in the world and use the drupal logo. I think the semi-dark gray shirt will compliment the blue on the logo.

So you might need to go with DrupalCampNYC8 or something as there's a good chance we'll have a 9 before 2010 is out.

We've almost raised enough sponsorship to cover shirts.
