Drupal or Moodle for platform with repositories plus learning tools? Experiences and advice asked.

Doubting between Drupal and Moodle - Experiences/advice asked. We received a grant to develop an open learning platform on anatomy, that will contain both repositories for anatomical data and learning functionality using these data. The anatomical data comprises images, separate terms, coordinates, folders with Google-maps-like image tiles, video, 3D data, etc., all to be multi-tagged. The learning functionalities are for instance quizzes, flash cards, 'drawing on image'-assignments, peer-review, ranking, competition, serious games, etc.

Getting Drupal Curriculum into 2,000 high schools in 24 months

I have a goal to get a full semester long Drupal based website design curriculum into 2,000 high schools in the next 24 months. To do this I really need some help from others in the Drupal community.

We launched a KickStarter campaign that will allow us to build a full semester long, high school level website design/development course using Drupal. This will also allow us to offer the course and teacher training at no cost to the school. We only have about a week until it’s over and need some help.

Usefulness of an integration of Mediabird Study Notes into Drupal?

Hello everyone,

I am the co-founder of the Mediabird Study Notes software, which is an extension to existing LMS.

Mediabird is a collaborative online notepad that allows small study groups to collaboratively work on shared notes at any time. It is not only possible to extend notes or edit them at the same time but in particular Mediabird allows users to annotate notes and ask questions about them. With that respect, Mediabird combines the ideas of a wiki and of a forum but is not as public as a wiki and relates questions to the notes rather than separating them as done in a forum.

Pedagogle - a file resource sharing site

So about 2 weeks ago, just before a break from school, I gave a presentation titled Using of Open Source Software in Education which is a topic that discussed quite a bit, but not often at my school. During the presentation I made the observation that if education were more like Open Source, we would solve a lot of problems involving resources that teachers have. In the context I was discussing during the lesson, I viewed a resource as a lesson plan, a worksheet, a test, an image, an audio clip to share with students, etc...

Student submissions with comments; multi-thread?

Here's the scenario we're looking for:
*Student submits a node
*This node has an image field and a text field
*They can upload as many images as they want (usually like 3-5) and they submit some text about the group of images
*Other students come in and give comments specifically about images that they submitted OR about their textual description of their artworks
*Teachers can read and respond to all comments / approve / disapprove of them for all to see
