Doubting between Drupal and Moodle - Experiences/advice asked. We received a grant to develop an open learning platform on anatomy, that will contain both repositories for anatomical data and learning functionality using these data. The anatomical data comprises images, separate terms, coordinates, folders with Google-maps-like image tiles, video, 3D data, etc., all to be multi-tagged. The learning functionalities are for instance quizzes, flash cards, 'drawing on image'-assignments, peer-review, ranking, competition, serious games, etc.

Drupalcon was a great leep forward for education. Drupal is taking off in k-12, university and private sector training usage for the delivery of educational materials. A mixed group of people passionate about education and training got together for a learning management system (LMS) BoF at Drupalcon. My name is Claudio, I am a Web Design student and am designing a website for a school as for my thesis project ( I haven't started yet). I am very new to Drupal as to webdesign and I wondered if anyone can help me choose the right modules as this is my first time.

So, the website will serve as a tool to rise funding as it is a charity School so it will take Donations

What are the current thoughts on Drupal-Moodle integration? Some folks were integrating Moodle into Drupal at least up to the Drupal 5 Beta. I'd greatly appreciate the thoughts of the Ed group on this. And more broadly, how the DrupalEd distribution will/should fit in with the OpenAcademic Moodle, Elgg, MediaWiki and Drupal integration.
