Hello There fellow NYC Drupallers!
If you or any of your team members will be attending Drupalcon this coming week in Chicago, I would like to invite you to unwind for awhile at a very laid back party that my company is hosting.
Where: Murasaki sake & karaoke lounge (211 East Ontario - Just a few blocks south of the Sheraton)
When: Wednesday March 9th, from 8 to 10 pm

Sticker Perforation Party at the Internet Garage
So, we ordered a whole bunch of glowstickers (http://groups.drupal.org/files/glowsticker.jpg) and we're putting together a party to get people together to help us rip the sticker sheets into small glowsticker-sized squares.
It's BYOB, but there's a coffee shop next door with plenty of wifi and computers there you can use.
The event will be held starting at 8PM March 5th at the Internet Garage (Thanks c0psrul3 for hosting!) located on N5th at Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

DrupalNYC Webchick D7 Tour Afterparty -- Thu February 17, 6:30pm
Angie "Webchick" Byron is coming to town to school us on how to rock Drupal 7 in the NYC stop of the Webchick Drupal 7 Tour 2011. The DrupalNYC community simply couldn't let this event go by without a party to celebrate Webchick's visit, get our great local Drupal community together for a night of good times, and give folks new to DrupalNYC a great way to get acquainted.
Free & open to everyone, whether you're attending the training or not!
When: NEW TIME: Thursday, February 17, 6:30pm-10pm (or whenever we all leave!)

NYC party/gathering to coincide with Webchick D7 Tour?
So Webchick is coming to town to school us New Yorkers on how to rock Drupal 7. Last night I started wondering – why doesn't the NYC Drupal community have a get-together that Thursday or Friday night (February 17 or 18) to celebrate the visit of our illustrious co-maintainer's visit as well as publicize the Drupal NYC community to all the attendees of the training? I imagine this could be a great way to do outreach to folks who would go to such a training but don't know about or haven't yet ventured into the Drupal NYC community yet.
