Welcome to the Austin Drupal Users Group!
As of April 2025, we are no longer posting events in this group (there are too many places to post events and groups.drupal.org is dying a slow death).
TxDUG / Texas Drupal organizers are collecting contact info for Drupalers in Texas so we can stop being reliant on other platforms (here’s looking at you Meetup.com) for communicating announcements. Please fill out this form so we can email you about Drupal events in Texas (you can choose which regions).
Please join us in the #austin-texas channel on Drupal Slack. If you aren't already on Drupal Slack, join here.
We continue to post our meetups in Drupal.org's Community Events section.
For now, RSVPs for our meetups are in our Meetup Group, but this might change in the future. Best to be in our Slack channel or on our email list.
Hope to see you at an upcoming meetup!
Triumph's Cafe is Closing its doors effective Wed, August 31, 2011.
Greetings Fellow Drupalers,
Just wanted to add note for those who weren't at the Drupal Dojo last night that our Austin Meet-Up location at Triumph's Cafe will be closing next Wednesday.
We talked a small bit last night on a new location, but I can't remember if one was chosen. (Everybody was putting everyone-else in charge. Good times.)
Cheers!

Additional Region Classes, Additional zone classes? How do I use these
Hi All,
I've looked everywhere in the documentation and can't find an example of this.
Under Zone and Region config blocks there's a form that says "Additional Zone/Region Classes - You can quickly add custom CSS classes to your zone here."
This looks like it might really help me but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use this.
How does this work? Am I supposed to add a full css style description? Just a class name? And if it's just a class name - where do I define the styles?

SVN Set up
Hi,
I am setting up a new Drupal site. As far as SVN goes I am looking at the best practices. how existing SVN structures have been modeled. I am thinking of just having the sites folder in the SVN but am open to suggestions. Also how did you create the branches - Split between two thoughts - One to have each release as a branch and the other create a separate branch for module / theme / scripts / files.
I am looking at various options and looking forward for some advice.
Thanks!

Weekly night to get together and work on our individual Drupal projects. It is a hack night where we work on our projects, share solutions, and do what we do in a social environment. This is an opportunity for professional networking and to see what other Drupalers are working on. Whereas we promote the sharing of information and asking questions, this is not the place to come for Drupal lessons, tutorials, or to recruit Drupal talent. There are other channels for these activities. If you are new to Drupal be sure to check out the Austin Drupal Newbie group on Meetup.com.
