Teaser break issue: teaser break mysteriously appearing at the top of my content. Messing up my teasers?

Greetings Drupalians,

For some reason, the teasers I am placing in my content are being ignored. I have a feeling that it's because somehow, there is a teaser break that is appearing at the top of all my stories.

If you go to this view (http://v2.litennismag.com/topics/Coaching) you will see only one of the articles actually is showing the teaser. Here you can see my original tag and the phantom tag that is being added (http://rookery5.aviary.com/storagev12/3029000/3029231_a03b_625x625.jpg).

Any ideas? Is it FCKEditor?

Issues after upgrading openpublish_core and openpublish_theme

My site (www.stattler.com) uses OP 1.6 and recently I've updated the openpublish_core module and openpublish_core theme. After doing it, I see that the author profiles are not showing up in any node (Article or Blogs). On the frontpage, Authors for Blogs are showing, though.

Now, before I remove these recent updates and get back to the older once
(a) I would like to know whether the issue is at all related to the updates or not
(b) if yes, which one should I remove? the theme or the module?

How do I keep the image from breaking out of the div class="featured-view-item"?

I'm using Open Publish 1.6 and in the article list view the first item is featured with a gray background. When the image has a portrait orientation it breaks the gray background. If I make the gray background larger, it looks odd for the landscape images.

Could some of you CSS experts help me with this? How do I make it so the gray background remains larger than the image and nicely spaced?

I have included a screenshot in Firefox while using Firebug. The

I was going to begin building the site again next Monday planing on about one and half months of work. I don't mind a version that a little buggy. I worked through tons of bugs, mostly with Drupal, with v1.5.

Is there a configuration of 1.7 that I can use now, and as you iron out the bugs, I can also working in tandem? Or, should I just go ahead and work with 1.6? If the situation is anything like my last build, the whole system is going to be completely custom anyway.

Hi all folks!!

I've developed an OpenPublish instance for the organization I work for: the "Campus di Genova Città Digitale", related to the "Comune di Genova" ("Genoa Municipality", Genoa, Italy).
This site replaces an old site that was created to describe the organization and offers some of the typical Drupal and OpenPublish funcionality in order to publish news, video and ICT related content.

trying to remove the blog homepage block title link

The blog homepage block title is actually a link when most other block titles are not (the multimedia block title is also a link). Because it links, when I change the css for the H3, it does not change with the rest of the block titles.

How can I make it so the block titles do not link?

Best way to create content types

I have been trying for a couple days to create content types (News, Sports, Obituaries).
First, I tried cloning article. But there is no clone ability for some reason.
So I exported it and imported it, but for some reason, it wasn't recognized as a content type (yes, FCC editor was off).
So then I tried taxonomy.
But that has been difficult. I was able to create page views just fine, based on article. But for some reason, the block views and featured homepage taxonomy isn't as effective. The blocks don't all get created. And even when they do, they don't always show.

What is the best way to clean up the layout?

I'm trying to clean up the layout of my frontpage. As you can see from the attached screen shot, the left and right columns do not line up at the top with the center columns. When I inspect my site through Firebug, at least on the right column, I find that there is an extra div class...

div class="admin-inline">

This is sitting on top of the ad block in the right column that is creating an extra space which makes the columns look uneven. Obviously, it is there for a reason.

Several helpful things

The option to install OpenPublish ontop of an existing Drupal installation. This should definitely be an option.

A breakdown of the OP installation package that indicates inter-relationships between modules.

It appears to me, the closer you stay to Drupal and maintain a separate autonomous OP application you will decrease support issues significantly.

Learning how everything fits and works is pretty tedious, so some explanations along these lines would be helpful.

Where do can you edit 'Latest Headlines' homepage title

I would like to change the title of the homepage featured article block from "Latest Headlines' to 'Annoucements'. Couldn't find it in blocks or views or context. Where can I make this change. thanks.

I received a tweet today that OP 1.7 was going to be released soon. Is it going to be difficult to upgrade from 1.6?

I really liked 1.6 and have spent a good amount of time building our site based on it.

How difficult will it be to upgrade from 1.6 to 1.7 taking into consideration the fact that I have now made numerous module additions, css changes and some template changes?

I would like to use OpenPublish with other themes.

Maybe if OP developer would give us a basic guildelines for those modules that require* only the current OP theme.

This way we could eliminate a few features or modules in OP and use other themes.

Can't get the preprocess functions in the template.php to show the debug lines

I'm trying to implement the Dynamic Display Block with OP 1.6, but for some reason I can't get the debug lines to display no matter which drupal_set_message lines I uncomment. If I can't see the debug lines, I can't change the field names in the DDblock preprocess function to get it to work.

Can someone help me with what I'm doing wrong?

Best Solution for Photo Galleries

I need a photo gallery system for my Open Publish (Drupal)

Here's what I am looking for:

A) Ability to bulk upload (between 200 and 500 a week) in two or three galleries per week.
b) ability to connect images to the gallery without manually entering text for each image
c) Some sort of carousel/wheel to go through the photos

What's the best solution?
I've been stuck on this for a week now.

The image_op that comes with Open Publish doesn't play nice with bulk uploaders. The IMAGE from image module allows me to bulk upload, but doesn't want to connect with galleries.

I was wondering if people could suggest how/if they are implementing multiple photos per article. Currently, the photo that is attached to an article is displayed at the top of the story and floated left with its caption. In previous versions of OP, when I added multiple photos the additional photos lined up underneath the first one... not aesthetically pleasing when displaying a story.

I'm trying to implement something without having to do any coding, if possible. Also, I know I could insert photos inline, in the story, but I would rather have all photos implemented the same way.
