Every month experts guide our local community showcasing professional Drupal techniques, industry standards, and best practices. LA Drupal brings a spectacular lineup of topics and presentations centered around Drupal. We help users answer questions, and resolve issues with solutions surrounding planning, supporting, and developing with Drupal.

The Stauffer team has proudly supported the LA Drupal community for years and is excited to now invite LA Drupal members to the first meetup event at their new office! For the next six months Stauffer will be hosting the LA Drupal user group's main monthly meetup.

You don't have to work alone. We're happy to take part in yet another Drupal Coworking Friday at Droplabs, a collaborative coworking space, classroom and hackerspace. Join us!

We're in Downtown Los Angeles and are happy to host members of our local community and anyone who is just passing through for some coworking, networking and collaboration. We'll be offering the following FREE services to help rock your workday:

• Free parking on Clover St. and N. Main St. and in our large parking lot
• Free, metered WiFi
• Desks, chairs and Ergotron mobile workstations in our open coworking room (on a first-come, first-served basis)

The general Downtown Los Angeles Drupal meetup is on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Sensis Agency in Downtown Los Angeles. Those interested in attending this meetup remotely are welcome to join us via WebEx. This meetup is now on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

At this meetup, we're having our usual news and announcements, raffle prizes, lightning talks (short, bite-sized presentations) and featured presentations. In previous months, we've had presentations on simplytest.me, Responsive Web Design, integrating Drupal and Redmine (a popular ticketing system), a behind-the-scenes look at BuildaModule.com, and DrupalCamp planning meetings.

Every Wednesday at 7pm, Droplabs has an open stakeholders meeting with the Droplabs founders, keyholders and members of our community in and around Los Angeles, California. Bring in the new year this January 1, 2013, by getting Drupal Fit and relaxing with friends and members of the Drupal community at Century Spa in Koreatown, Los Angeles.

Century Spa is a 24-hour gym, sports club and jimjilbang (Korean community spa) with 3 floors of spacious spas, hot tubs, pools, saunas and relaxation rooms (gold, ice, eucalyptus steam, etc.) and has a restaurant and juice bar. Their phone number is (323) 954-1020.

The entry fee is $10 per person (normally $20). We are meeting in the lobby at Century Spa at 1pm and will be leaving at 4pm to return to Droplabs. If you arrive on your own you can leave at your convenience.

What to Bring

Just bring yourself and $10. If ordering food, bring extra cash or debit / credit card.

Towels, robes, etc. and a variety of toiletries are provided by Century Spa, but feel free to bring a change of clothes or other personal items. Internet access is provided upstairs in the jimjilbang.
