Last meetup there was a good show & tell, maybe this time we can talk about the standard modules you download and use right after Drupal Core, CCK, Views, Token & Pathauto. We have a wiki page asking folks to post ideas and whether they were willing to present or asking for someone to tackle the subject. Conflict Resolution within the DrupalNYC community

For those who aren't aware, within the past week we've had some issues arise within our community regarding what's proper behavior for our IRC channel. The conflict being that some individuals were having discussions and posting links that were considered unprofessional and offensive by others. A second chat room was created (#drupal-nyc) and declared the official room, a decision executed with plenty of private discussion but very little public group discussion.

Drupal Wonderland at the Movies

This will just be developers and designers hanging out in Manhattan while watching Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX 3D Theater. There will be no talks regarding Drupal unless you have talent or some good beer. j/k

We are just going to watch a great movie and socialize and maybe take over some lounges in Manhattan after. The Movie starts on Friday the 5th and until then we won't know the exact time in which the movie will be showing on the 14th, so we set the time to 6:45pm which is usually the show times for that theater.

I assume we'll stick to the same focus since we had to cancel the last meeting.

Proposed focus:

Active coding and mutual assistance on code, themes, and other technical issues. Come get input or help from fellow Drupal users. Show everyone your code or talk about the challenges you are facing. After initial discussion, work in smaller groups including one focused on tacking one or more Drupal 7 bugs.
