Newspapers on Drupal

Hello,

I'd like to introduce a new module: ImageAPI Optimize. This is a "virtual toolkit", that means it does exactly what GD or Imagemagick toolkit (your choice!) does, and it optimizes the output.

This module does requires (optionally) some external commands.

All suggestions are welcome!

We are uploading our obituaries through Feeds into an Obituary content type. One of our advertisers has an agreement that a text link to their website will appear at the bottom of every obituary.

I'm using Views to create a "teaser list" of obituaries on the main obits page; the title of each obit is a link to that obit's page.

I need the "text link ad" to appear at the end of each obit's page ... and below each obit's "teaser" on the main obit page.

The ideal solution to this would be a pre-populated CCK field ... but I haven't been able to find a way to do this.

i am developing an app using c# .
This app displays the list of all nodes using the taxonomy.selectNodes method.
I am having problem displaying the list of all nodes for any taxonomy
it gives the following error:

Does anyone have any experience using e-Commerce with Webforms and PayPal? I'm running into some problems I can't solve, and I could really use some help.

(Yes, I know Ubercart outshines e-Commerce in many ways; where it failed me was with Webforms, since I can't clone them and still use them in Ubercart; I have to create 40 forms for 40 different products, and I don't have time to create them all from scratch.)

i am using the services 2.x module and i am at the point where i need to get the vocab tree for a selected vid
what i noticed is that the return value for taxonomy.getTree doesnot containg the name of the vocabulary
it do contain the tid and taxonomy names and the respective vid's but nowhere there is a mention of vocabulary name

Isn't that a bug that should be taken care of ??

The official French Senate TV channel, Public Sénat (www.publicsenat.fr), moved to Drupal last week.

Public Sénat was the first french TV channel to provide free VOD in 2007, today, they refesh their site with a new version on Drupal promoting and leveraging their journalists work.

The publisher of the newspaper where I am building a new site in Drupal/ProsePoint wants to move the "Lifestyles" announcements (birthdays, birth announcements, engagements, weddings, anniversaries) into an ad section (in the print version of the newspaper) called "Celebrations."

And she wants people to be able to place orders for "Celebrations" ads online.

i am trying to create a client in c# which connects to any drupal based website and perform operations defined via services module and communicate via xmlrpc
this client will be available for free download once it is complete
now i am at the point when i am trying to use the user.save function
i am currently able to create a new user with a specified email address
however i cannot set the user password using the client
nor i am able to update the user information (like his email address for example) for existing users using the user.save function

Sorry for the newbie question.

I've been working on a website for our company for a couple of months now from the hosted server, but have not set up the domain name yet, so the only way to find the site is via the IP address.

But in the final stages, I need to have the domain name set up to test some of the features (SSL, Google analytics, etc...).
