New to OP - Feeds not working
Hello,
I am impressed at the many features of OpenPublish. I would like to make use of its ability to harvest items from multiple RSS feeds. Does this work in Drupal 7? Is this supported through using the regular Drupal Feeds module? I tried creating feeds but nothing harvests. Strangely, the "Feed URL" field was there initially but now it is gone.

I installed D7 OpenPublish alpha9 and only see one (1) app.
Where are the other apps? How to get more apps? Should I have installed OpenPublish on D7?

Hi, I just installed the latest version of OP (OpenPublish3-alpha7), install seems ok, but I can't find the defaut theme I can see in the demo (http://ap.openpublishapp.com/)
I thought "open publish" allowed to have a "ready to use" magazine site...

Installing OP no-care in Drupal 7.14?
Can someone please tell me how I install the OP no-core in a new installation of Drupal 7.14? The openpublish-7.x-1.0-alpha8-core seems to come with Drupal 7.12...
Or, which is the easiest to do installing the OP core and then upgrade to Drupal 7.14?
I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

I've got this warning on the site I try to developp locally on MAMP, with OpenPublish. I am told to update Drupal core for security reasons, and as the update from 7.12 to 7.14 "is not supported at this time", says the message, to manually update Openpublish.
-Should I do this update now, and how, as I am on a local server?

OpenPublish subtheme with Frame as base theme
Frame is allready a responsive theme but i wish to have different css files for wide, narrow etc. devices.
I made (using the wizard) a subtheme based on Frame but styles are not inherited from Frame (with a starter kit).
If a make a subtheme using Frame without a starterkit i get a subtheme with inherited styles from Frame but with no css files like:
YOUR-THEME-alpha-default.css
YOUR-THEME-alpha-default-normal.css
YOUR-THEME-alpha-default-wide.css
What am i missing ?
Should i add these files manually inside my .info file ?
How do you change the Teaser?
In OP 2.3 you use views to change the story/block/page for articles.
I can't figure out how to change the front page teaser show that it shows a photo on the front page.

The Photo Gallery needs multiple upload capability.
If you have even 6 or 7 photos, it becomes tedious to upload on or two.
If you have 100, it's undoable.

I don't understand what to do. I have installed Drupal on my local server MAMP (mac) in order to build a site. Now, I'd like to use OpenPublish which seem to fit my needs. Do I have to disinstall first Drupal, or to put Openpublish within my Drupal folder? Thanks for help...

Frontpage content reverts to Nov 23, 2011
Something strange is going on with my OP site (2.x site). For some reason, when you first come to the site (www.scvbj.com) it defaults to November 23, 2011 News stories. After a refresh, the current content appears.
When I first noticed this, I thought this was a caching issue with individual computers, but now it's clear (months later) that something is going on with the site.
I have cleared the site cache and attempted to tweak other site settings to remedy this, without success.
Anyone have a clue as to why this is happening?

News and development has been painfully slow. It's been months since the alpha was released. Forum is now getting spammed and stays up there for days. Questions aren't getting answered.

I'm currently testing out my site to make sure everything works ok and have found a problem.
Images when uploading are not being promoted to the front page when I have set them to do so, also they seem to 'disappear' once uploaded, meaning they do not appear in the category list to which they were uploaded to or anywhere on the site. The only way to access them is to point to the URL of the image once uploaded.
Does anyone know how to fix this so images do appear on the front page?

Cannot control content type teaser
OpenPublish 6.x-1.20, core: drupal 6
I am having an issue controlling the content type display teaser. I am trying to use views to show the teaser display of a node reference field attached to an article. (In more human terms: My article content type has a field -> 'More in this series'. This field is a node-reference. I want to display the 'More in this series' field as a teaser, not as the default title.)

- Why choose the context - box - box views for openpublish? Is this more powerfull (or flexible) than panels or is this more suitable for a news site?
- Is this system able to do everything panels can do?
- Can we use both systems in combination ?
